I’m getting fed up of this now! What have you booked and are you expecting to go?

We are considering a holiday rental but don’t want to get our hopes up. Also don’t particularly want to be on a mobbed beach if we have a hot summer!

Sorry should have said, kinda hopeful for both at the moment.

bloodyhairy · 05/02/2021 20:32

Mine was carried on from last year too.

PlugUgly1980 · 05/02/2021 20:34

Camping in the Peak District at Easter (transferred from last year) then new bookings for most school holidays - 2 long weekends in the Yorkshire Dales, a week in the Lake District, another long weekend in a different part of the Lakes, a week camping in Scotland, and a holiday cottage in Snowdonia (for Oct half term). Just got one more week in the Summer left to book. Can't wait, we had a brilliant summer last year, so hoping we can do it again this year!

DazedandConcerned · 05/02/2021 20:35

@thenightsky haha we have! Good memory.

Quarantine is a bit of an issue. Hoping as I’ve had my vaccine I’ll be exempt but that might be wishful thinking.

Trying some new hotels this time - but will still be diving and snorkelling. Can’t keep me out of that crystal clear water.

lachy · 05/02/2021 20:35

We've booked a week in April, a long weekend in June, week in August, and a long weekend in August.

Will also go camping a couple of weekends in May and July.

All covered by a covid guarantee and all in the UK.

LemonViolet · 05/02/2021 20:36

U.K. cottage for August, rural/coastal in the same village that we have family in, so hopefully even if there are still some restrictions we’ll be able to see them outside/distanced but stay in our own households. If restrictions mean we can’t go we can rebook/refund.

1Morewineplease · 05/02/2021 20:38

Nothing booked , nor will we.
Just want to see my elderly mum who lives 200 miles away. Haven't seen her since last Easter for a quick visit when rules were relaxed.

WishingHopingThinkingPraying · 05/02/2021 20:40

Booked flights and accommodation for two weeks in Spain in July. Booked 2 weeks on the coast of Scotland for the same two weeks. Both cancellable 2 weeks before so we'll see which we are doing then.

EachBleachBlairTrump · 05/02/2021 20:40

We're meant to be going to Efteling in September, booked it in May 2020 assuming this would all be over by then.... No idea if it will go ahead but they gave us a Covid cancellation guarantee

catatecheese · 05/02/2021 20:40

None . Will let this thing settle down before we start travelling again. I don't think letting everyone go off on holidays last summer helped really did it!

AnneElliott · 05/02/2021 20:41

Hoping to see friends who have booked a campsite in Norfolk. Fingers crossed we can go and stay nearby.

trilbydoll · 05/02/2021 20:41

Campsite in France booked for August but no ferry or tunnel yet.

Holiday cottage in Devon booked for October half term which will be 18 months after we were originally meant to go!

Alienchannell21 · 05/02/2021 20:41

Centre parcs in may. Sardinia in July which was the holiday we booked last year but transferred to this year.

StillGoingToWork · 05/02/2021 20:42

I'd like to see my brother and his family, and my parents.

Other than that I thought a train ride through Scotland or bum around Scandinavia for a bit. But we haven't booked anything, just saving up until we are allowed to go without isolating etc.

ssd · 05/02/2021 20:42

None. But we might go a walk....

Letsleepingdogslie8 · 05/02/2021 20:42

Nothing at all. I totally begrudge spending money on a holiday in the UK with the knowledge that it will probably rain.

User7458 · 05/02/2021 20:43

Lots of trips in our caravan, hope at least some go ahead,.

pollylocketpickedapocket · 05/02/2021 20:43

Italy in august and Lapland for December!
Feeling very confident, I got to Greece in august last year, pretty sure they’ll happen!

Jasperjosephjulian · 05/02/2021 20:45

I've got a week in Italy booked - driving there and back with hotels.book for the journey - for start of June.
All moved from last year.

I'm very skeptical but won't cancel until as late as possible just in case..

PeggyMoo · 05/02/2021 20:46

Northumberland and the highlands sound great social distancing wise but too far for us with small children!

OrangeBananaFish · 05/02/2021 20:46

Butlins for June, but we always go in June. Obvs couldn't in 2020

Not booked, but still hoping to go back to France in August. The accommodation is family owned so its just booking the train as we drive. We went for 2 weeks in August 2020 so hoping to go again. It only depends on foreign travel rules really.

Quornflakegirl · 05/02/2021 20:46

Cornwall in August which is oir annual family holiday. We transferred it from. Last August as we didn't think going on holiday last summer was the right thing to do.

SimonJT · 05/02/2021 20:47

Little cottage at the end of April as a mini honeymoon, another cottage in the summer holidays, we think that one still has potential to go ahead.

MrsPinkCock · 05/02/2021 20:48

Nothing.

Three holidays cancelled last year. Oldest teens fancied Venice for a long weekend this year and we’d discussed Florida in October after cancelling last year but I can’t see either happening either!

Pascha · 05/02/2021 20:48

Just Centerparcs rebooked from last June to this July. I'm not making any other plans for now.
