Do you not go out or do you choose not to wear one?

alltoomuchrightnow · 28/01/2021 19:18

I've just bought them for the first time but I've always worn. It's only because my work have stopped supplying now

gagaoolaalaa · 28/01/2021 19:18

Of course I go out, I wear them all day for work. I have just never had to actually buy one as I get them free daily in work.

Do you not go out or do you just refuse to wear one when out?

Iknowwhatudidlastsummer · 28/01/2021 19:19

What are you planning to do if you have some emergency and HAVE to go in a place where they are mandatory? Even if it's just a chemist or your GP?

WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants · 28/01/2021 19:19

🙄🙄🙄

gagaoolaalaa · 28/01/2021 19:19

I wear one all the time! All day at work, in shops, out for walks! Always!!

OP posts:
Lazypuppy · 28/01/2021 19:19

Thats nice you get them for free.

Iknowwhatudidlastsummer · 28/01/2021 19:19

Please don't tell me you wear the same manky mask all day in work and then to go shopping in it.
Peppermintgreen · 28/01/2021 19:21

Do your work give you them for free to wear in your own time too? Smile

Markies · 28/01/2021 19:21

Is there a point to this thread? Pathetic thing to boast about 🤷🏻‍♀️

Iknowwhatudidlastsummer · 28/01/2021 19:21

I get medical disposable ones from my office, I still bought a few in fabric. It's less wasteful, and enough to do the school pick up when we are outside anyway.

I would be embarrassed to add to the landfill when it really can be avoided and you stay outside and a few meters away from people anyway.

Riv · 28/01/2021 19:21

I’ve never bought one either, but I have made 50 or so from fabric I had in the house. Many have been given away but the family have at least 5 each.

gagaoolaalaa · 28/01/2021 19:21

@Towelrailfail of course not. I go through about 4/5 masks a day!!

OP posts:
gagaoolaalaa · 28/01/2021 19:21

@Peppermintgreen yes they come in packs of two. We are free to take them as we need them

OP posts:
Purpleguitar · 28/01/2021 19:22

I get free masks at work, but have never bought any as my mum made me a bundle of them!

Peppermintgreen · 28/01/2021 19:23

What is your job?

Ch3rish · 28/01/2021 19:23
@Towelrailfail of course not. I go through about 4/5 masks a day!!
That's so wasteful and bad for the environment, nothing to be proud of.
It makes me sad to read your post

gagaoolaalaa · 28/01/2021 19:23

@Markies I'm not boasting (what an odd thing to say) I have just realised that I have never actually purchased a mask...that's all. Bloody hell can a person not start a simple conversation in here?

@Peppermintgreen I'm a lab analyst

partyatthepalace · 28/01/2021 19:24

And you started this thread because...?

Eleoura · 28/01/2021 19:24

So you are stealing them from work for personal use???

blueluce85 · 28/01/2021 19:24

What a thing to be proud of.... Going through 4/5 masks a day when you could spend £10 and get a couple of reusable washable ones and help the planet....

Iknowwhatudidlastsummer · 28/01/2021 19:24

that's not what you did and you know it Hmm
