I'm just glad you used the word bought instead of the ludicrous brought, which keeps appearing. I've spent loads on masks OP, so you're very lucky.

Eh? I got two masks from work and I'm allowed to use them at home as well. They're not 'work only masks'.

Where I live there is talk of moving from cloth masks to making surgical masks compulsory. I will be quite annoyed because of the money I've spent on cloth masks and even more annoyed at having to pay lots of money for things that go in the bin afterwards.

I get them free for work purposes (NHS patient facing) but have still bought my own because I can’t take precious PPE for my Tesco shop. So I wear my own bought mask when not working and for arriving at work then change to work PPE one.

Love a good co ordinating mask/outfit combo.
Love buying fancy masks.

You could have titled your thread "I get masks free from work so I don't buy them." Then everybody would have known not to bother responding because there is no response to that.

Same here, although I get given a box of a hundred at a time. Which if someone has forgotten theirs I'll gladly let them have some of mine

My brother drops boxes off for us since the start of the pandemic.

I wouldn't want to use work ones on my free time. Buy your own to ensure you company will continually have enough for staff when needed.

I have one pack of 10 I bought, but I get mine from work too

@kowari we have to change our masks when we move from a non graded area to a highly graded area...this was also the case pre covid! Pharmaceuticals has A LOT of waste yes...a lot of single use plastics but we have very stringent waste policies too!

I never buy toilet roll because work provides it and they've never said there's a limit on how much I should be using.

What a thing to be proud of.... Going through 4/5 masks a day when you could spend £10 and get a couple of reusable washable ones and help the planet....

Many workplaces won't let staff wear reusable masks. Mine won't - we have to wear the disposable ones we're supplied with.
