Yes, YABU

Clappingforjoy · 31/10/2020 12:43

Do you think resistance fighters in Nazi countries were "asking for trouble" too? Your thought process is terrifying. Your contempt should solely lie with the religious simpletons who carry out these barbaric attacks.

DifficultPifcultLemonDifficult · 31/10/2020 12:47

This is the equivalent of saying women who wear short skirts deserve to be raped.

Clappingforjoy · 31/10/2020 12:47

Oh come on

YABU
Can't give in to extreme-ism. I wouldn't do it but I'm not brave enough but I have respect for people who do. It's about protecting freedom of speech.

Yes you are being very very very unreasonable
Clappingforjoy · 31/10/2020 12:49

If you know that your actions will cause unrest then why do this. I wouldnt do this and risk been attacked.

Exactly this.
user1473878824 · 31/10/2020 12:50

Good for you, personally I’d rather we punished terrorist rather than people who wish to air their views.

Good for you. Some people feel differently, and they're allowed to.
Princessposie · 31/10/2020 12:50

I agree that the actions of the perpetrators are barbaric and uncivilized and medieval but knowing there is somebody out there who is capable of this level of violence would deter me

OP posts:
PortiasPhantomPentanglePumpkin · 31/10/2020 12:52

No we will not give in to terrorism

And?
GirlCrush · 31/10/2020 12:53

Cartoon? Bit of fun? A drawing?

A prophet to me is a fictitious person anyway.

I haven’t seen the drawing that caused all this though.

SaskiaRembrandt · 31/10/2020 12:54

Also this barbaric and uncivilized and medieval

Stop conflating completely different things and learn some bloody history.

BLASTPROCESSING · 31/10/2020 12:55

Nice bait.

Clappingforjoy · 31/10/2020 12:58

I'm sorry but if I was a man with kids family etc I wouldnt do things to put myself in danger I would be looking over my shoulder all of the time

There are men out there who rape and kill women. Are women who walk alone asking for trouble because these men exist?
Ihatefish · 31/10/2020 12:59

Wtf? If someone Interprets a religion to say it’s ok to behead someone because they draw a picture of someone who saw a angel in a cave then it’s then that person is stupid and you can’t reason with stupid. This behaviour needs challenging -Imans everywhere need to ensure that Muslims understand that it’s ok to practice faith but non Muslims don’t need to adhere to the rules.

I'm not sure why I'm bothering as it's clear you're being deliberately goady and obtuse, but are you genuinely suggesting that terrorists are above question and should be bowed to in all instances for fear of consequences?
Holyrivolli · 31/10/2020 13:01

Victim blaming at its finest. Why the fuck should we stop doing things that are lawful and part of our culture to appease religious fanatics?

PortiasPhantomPentanglePumpkin · 31/10/2020 13:03

What rubbish, no way will we let terrorists define us and stop us from doing things

Are you a journalist or someone trying to stir the pot
