I’m newish to Mumsnet but have heard ‘Penis beaker’ being mentioned and I’m intrigued! I’m assuming it’s an old thread being referenced?
I’ve searched but I can’t find the original thread, just references. Anyone care to share the link if you know it? And any other ‘classic’ thread you know of for that matter!

Another vote for snapped and farted that had me in stitches for weeks I still laugh to myself when I think of it now :-)

Genuinely never understood what was so funny about snapped and farted. It was shit.

The best one ever is the one about the sinister Easter bonnet. OP made an Easter bonnet for her dc and the results were... not quite as cute as expected.

If I need cheering up. MN classics are fab. Very rare to find a thread like those now. People are too quick to create an argument these days.

As someone won't name names in case they get stolen has posted their own, back in March I made it into classics because of an unfortunate meeting between something spicy and... my fanjo

Came and stayed over lemon drizzle. Also gobsmacked over Gluezilla and laughed a lot over Centre Parcs but not sure if they're in classics.

Doubt it’s in classics but I remember a thread where the OP asked what she could do with the three ripe mangoes she had in her kitchen. The first response was “juggle them”; and for some reason the OP went utterly ape shit mad at this and it all went on for quite some time.

“Snapped and farted” was a) not in the slightest bit funny and b) clearly made up.

Does anyone know how I can get the pictures on the Easter Bonnet thread? Sounds like they’re worth seeing.
