I’m newish to Mumsnet but have heard ‘Penis beaker’ being mentioned and I’m intrigued! I’m assuming it’s an old thread being referenced?
I’ve searched but I can’t find the original thread, just references. Anyone care to share the link if you know it? And any other ‘classic’ thread you know of for that matter!

Yes fat balls made me laugh big belly laughs with shoulder shaking and everything.

Good times.

harriethoyle · 30/10/2020 12:44

The fat ball one is AMAZING

TeaStory · 30/10/2020 13:34

We all learned not to google “penguin bollards”.

This is the the one that had me open-mouthed - who knew dinosaur denying was a thing

My two favourites in Classics are a bit under the radar - the 'I pooed on my skirt at work today' one and the TripAdvisor one. Occasionally and out of the blue me or DD will say 'if I move I'm going to poo' or 'cockroach powder' to each other and we'll be helpless for ages.

Fat ball and the Sistine screamer are iconic.

[quote meditrina]This is the best thread in classics, by a considerable margin. Definitely MN at its finest

Read this in on entirety last night. Both my boys got an extra hug and kiss before bed.

One of my favourites was a MNer on a crap holiday complaining about how awful it was, and another MNer recognised her and was staying in the same place. They spent time together and it was a great example of MN brining people together. I’ve made it sound a lot less funny than it was...

MonClareDevole · 30/10/2020 15:31

I need more hours in the day for these! I don’t need sleep for the next few days I’m sure.

I love the dinosaur one. "nothing about dinosaurs is suitable for children from their total lack of family values..." Grin
Huh??? That's quite an impressive line of thinking that I never would have got to.
