I’m newish to Mumsnet but have heard ‘Penis beaker’ being mentioned and I’m intrigued! I’m assuming it’s an old thread being referenced?
I’ve searched but I can’t find the original thread, just references. Anyone care to share the link if you know it? And any other ‘classic’ thread you know of for that matter!

OP posts:

My favourite is "YOUR MINGE!!"

So simple but i giggled for hours after reading that. If anyone could find it I'd be grateful Grin

GoodbyeToCare · 29/10/2020 18:43

The 'Angela Hernandez' thread had me crying with laughter. Still makes me grin now just thinking about it!

Poppinjay · 29/10/2020 18:44

@ILoveYoga

How has no one mentioned the Mexican house thief??
I've tried to find this a few times to share with my DD1. Can anyone link me to it please?
MissConductUS · 29/10/2020 18:47

The Mexican house thief one is my favorite, but I haven't read them all.

MissConductUS · 29/10/2020 18:51

Mexican house thief was a story on a long thread about cheeky behavior. It's on page two here

Poppinjay · 29/10/2020 18:59

@MissConductUS, thank you Smile

Riapia · 29/10/2020 19:00

Don’t know if it’s in classics but there was One about an Easter bonnet.
The OP had made it.
It featured a terrifying fox and some chicks.
It would have traumatised a child.

Idroppedthescrewinthetuna · 29/10/2020 19:02

I have just read Emin's post. I am in tears. What a special woman! ❤️

Alonelonelyloner · 29/10/2020 19:14

Good grief I too just finished EMINs thread with a wet face. My son's sleeping head next to me is wet from my tears.
She has given me a lot to think about.
It gives me faith in people when I was starting to lose it.
It would be a marvellous thing if her husband knew of how highly thought of she is.

This is absolutely hilarious.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 29/10/2020 19:20

The one about the drug dependent baby needs a box of tissues when you read it, it’s beautiful.

One about people sleeping in a car is also good.

Ella roo and the river of sweetcorn is a winner.

DareDevil223 · 29/10/2020 19:26

This is the funniest thread ever on MN. It's not trolly or made up it's just genuinely laugh out loud funny.

I only have to think about Suzi Quatro's fat nan or "Bloody hell, it's Colonel Gaddafi" and I start gigggling.

FingersCrossedForAllOfUs · 29/10/2020 19:41

I’m glad I found this thread!

There was one which was mentioned a while ago which I’m not sure if it’s in classics or how to find it again.
It was a woman who had a rescue dog and took him outside each evening to do his business and she heard rustling and strange noises coming from the hedge at the bottom of the garden. It ended up being a couple who were conducting an illicit but not very discreet bit of extra marital rumpy pumpy in the hedge. They lived over the road in the flats I think OP said. In the end I think she said something to them one night (from a distance) and they furiously scrambled to get away saying there was a pervert watching them or something like that!
The rolling commentary each night on the thread was so funny, I had difficulty stifling the laughs when I read it at night! 🤣

Me too. Does anyone know whether Emin in still with us? It seems unlikely given the ending of her thread. What an amazing woman.

@EdithWeston - I've just re-read the 'how to be a Dad' thread - and spotted that I posted on it. Nearly a decade ago!

I hope Mavis and mini-Mavis are doing well

I’ve just found the hedge one!.....

😂😂😂 I lost it at 'Ca-caw, Ca-caw'

CrispsForTea · 29/10/2020 20:04

How has no one mentioned snapped and farted yet? DH and I lost it at that one!

TeaStory · 29/10/2020 20:05

I was laughing so hard I just accidentally posted on the expectations v reality thread!

From the sex hedge thread: “Along with the foxes and hedgehogs, I've never known a badger to request a finger in the bum”

Cassimin · 29/10/2020 20:06

I read EMINs posts for a few years, she was one of the reasons I became a foster carer.
She sadly passed away, she really was a special lady.

FingersCrossedForAllOfUs · 29/10/2020 20:18

@Whatisapension & @Teastory - Ha! So many classic comments on the hedge thread!
