Lasagna with cheese on top

Just ordered a food delivery as a treat, DH ordered a lasagna and it came with cheese on top.

I would of complained as cheese does not belong on lasagna but DH loves it as says it's meant to come with melted grated cheese on top.

I disagree and think it's just meant to have the white sauce.

Should Lasagna have cheese?

YABU = Yes cheese

What else would be on top if not cheese? A lovely layer of cheesy sauce with a burnt top.

I make it with cheese sauce and three types of cheese mixed

Of course it has cheese on top. Id be disappointed if it came without cheese.

YABU and I confirm that in Italy, real Italian people (not just the restaurants catering to tourists) make lasagne with cheese on top.
