Yes, on a kid TV show 20+ years ago.

Chicchicchicchiclana · 11/09/2020 21:08

In primary school sitting on the floor (crossed legs) in assembly. It was a news item about RE in primary schools I believe. Would have been some time between 1967 and 1970 Grin.

Itsabeautifuldayheyhey · 11/09/2020 21:09

Only in the crowd at Wimbledon. Grin

Oneborneverydecade · 11/09/2020 21:10

For a split second modelling the new Guides uniform on the Clothes Show. About 30 years ago

iklboo · 11/09/2020 21:10

Yes - on Pointless and The Chase

LEELULUMPKIN · 11/09/2020 21:10

Yes, Swapshop! With Keith Chegwin and Maggie Phillbin. This was 40+ years ago.

I also wrote weekly to Jim'll fix it as I wanted to meet The Bionic Man.

Thank fuck I never got a reply.

EggysMom · 11/09/2020 21:13

Yep, was on a programme about pregnancy and birth (before OBEM).

Jojoanna · 11/09/2020 21:14

Yes was in a couple of tv ads as a kid

annie987 · 11/09/2020 21:15

I played the flute on Blue Peter!

Magicbabywaves · 11/09/2020 21:16

That Keith Chegwin bit on the Big Breakfast.

I also wrote to Jim’s Fix It.

sheepysheep · 11/09/2020 21:16

I’ve been on you’ve been framed... I didn’t even get the £250 as someone else submitted the video!!

DurhamDurham · 11/09/2020 21:17

I was on Blockbusters, still have my signed dictionary but have lost my sweatshirt. Had the best time, lots of young people in a hotel together without parental supervision for the first time. Such a laugh and Bob was lovely.

Lobsterquadrille2 · 11/09/2020 21:17

Yes, in a club called Ruby's in Carnaby Street in the 1990s. It was a ballet school by day and you took your own alcohol. Not cool at all, no idea why they were filming one night.

helpfulperson · 11/09/2020 21:18

In a congregation on songs of praise 40 odd years ago

SomewhereInbetween1 · 11/09/2020 21:18

Been featured in regional news interviews with where I work a few times.

NorthernChinchilla · 11/09/2020 21:19

Several times, with two Prime Ministers and Antiques Roadshow.
I'm dead cool me Grin

DurhamDurham · 11/09/2020 21:20

Oh and once when I'd decided to skip school and go and see Tiffany sing at the shopping centre in Newcastle, I was sixteen and kept my six year old sister off school to go with me. We had the best time but when watching the local news that evening with the family, there we were right at the front waving and clapping.

I got into a lot of trouble for that.

Oysterbabe · 11/09/2020 21:20

Yes when I was in primary. My school only had 8 kids in it and they did a feature about it on the news.

wineandcatsandlego · 11/09/2020 21:22

In the audience for Jeremy Kyle!

toomanypillows · 11/09/2020 21:22

I was the subject of a BBC documentary. 🤓

I also used to be a TV extra so knocking about in the background of loads of shows 😂

marmitegirl01 · 11/09/2020 21:22

There was a series following London Ambulance Service years ago. They filmed me & crew mate while we were doing a training scenario while on last part of training course at Kenton. Think my mum still has the video 😂

Babdoc · 11/09/2020 21:23

Was a contestant on Crackerjack, fifty years ago! Long since lost my
Crackerjack propelling pencil, which was the underwhelming consolation prize.

Spanglybangles · 11/09/2020 21:25

In the audience for The Ricky Lake show during a visit to NYC in the 90’s.

Imonlydoingwhatican · 11/09/2020 21:28

Wack a day

NorthernChinchilla · 11/09/2020 21:29

And somehow forgot being in a Documentary! I realised it was not going to go well, so was as boring and inconspicuous as possible. It worked, was only in for a few minutes Grin
