To have sex in someone else’s house?

Is this ok?

Surely if you’re not seen or heard, and leave no trace then I don’t see what the problem is.

YABU. As silent as you think you are, they always know.

BashfulClam · 16/08/2020 00:30

Nope it’s a bit grim.

Downunderduchess · 16/08/2020 02:01

I see it as a form of bad manners. I’m also quite private. Time & a place.

Morgzmum · 16/08/2020 02:12

I have....... repeatedly (with the same partner).

I would do it now if it meant that we had more than 30 seconds child free Grin

Shesapunkpunk · 16/08/2020 02:15

I would not really want to leave semeny sheets in someone else’s bed. If you use condoms or shag on the floor I don’t see a problem really.

SimonJT · 16/08/2020 02:18

No I don’t think its okay, I wouldn’t have sex in someone elses house (unless it was my partners house) and I wouldn’t expect any guests staying here to have sex in our home.

CuntyMcBollocks · 16/08/2020 02:25

It wouldn't bother me if people had sex in my house, as long as they didn't leave a mess and weren't shrieking like monkeys.

Shesapunkpunk · 16/08/2020 02:25

When I was a student my friend and her ultra creepy boyfriend came to stay. When they left the next day the ultra creepy boyfriend said “ you might want to wash the sheets, if you know what I mean” with an ultra creepy wink. I often think people who shag in other people’s houses are a bit like him, sexually inept, awkward and don’t really understand social niceties/cues.

Ewww! Lovely crispy sex puddle sheets 😕 But to be fair I lived through the horror of 21yr old Dd having (relations) with her partner in the next room when they lived with us. I turned the TV up loud so neither of us had to ever discuss it! Although I did kick a vibrator back under her bed whilst cleaning 🤢

DBML · 16/08/2020 02:49

I see no issue with it, as long as we’re in a private space. I wouldn’t start doing it at the dinner table or anything.

managedmis · 16/08/2020 02:50

Can't they just wait?

Gingerfish91 · 16/08/2020 03:04

Eww, no.

ItsLateHumpty · 16/08/2020 03:05

What about on holiday if you’re in managed accommodation? Surely you’re shagging in someone else’s bed, or at least a bed that someone else has to strip and wash.

Catsup · 16/08/2020 03:07

Ooooh! Also when Dd stayed at my mums with partner they pumped up an old air bed to sleep on. My 80yr old mum knocked on the door, and apologised for interrupting their 'rhythm' ... I'm amazed my young adult child actually ever had sex again! 😂

Paid holiday? You can spunk where you want. They wear gloves and know that guests are a bit filthy.
BitOfFun · 16/08/2020 03:54

Of course you can. It's polite to strip the bed in the morning though.

See, I absolutely hate people stripping the bed. I find it intrusive and weird.
Catsup · 16/08/2020 04:03

I came on a really heavy period on holiday in Greece when I was 21. I stripped the bed, stuffed the sheets into my backpack, and placed them in a bin on the strip the next road down from our hotel! 😳😕 The maid must have wondered where the fuck the sheets had gone? And the local police must have been looking into a murder 😳

Catsup · 16/08/2020 04:04

Unfortunately no sex was involved in my drama...

SadieContrary · 16/08/2020 04:04

I live overseas so when people come to stay with me it's usually anything between a week to a fortnight. I totally expect they're having sex - they're on holiday and it's not like it's just an overnight.

We all have sex, it's a natural thing. Doesn't bother me in the slightest if it's in my house. I would be changing the sheets before the next guest anyway.

BitOfFun · 16/08/2020 04:10

I'm assuming that if you are staying in somebody else's home then you are good friends. I wouldn't take offence if guests stripped the bed and chucked the sheets in the washing machine.

If you think about it, its kind of insulting if you don't: it looks like you are assuming your hosts would either a) have to do it themselves, or b) leave their spare bed unwashed until they next had people to stay over. THAT is "grim", not doing what most couples ordinarily do in bed when they are happy, relaxed, and having a break from home.

As long as they aren't shrieking or banging the headboard against the wall, I think it's weirdly uptight to object.

Surely a semeny carpet is much worse?
Shesapunkpunk · 16/08/2020 04:17

God yes! 😂 semeny carpet.
But if my friends chucked my sheets in the washing machine I would feel like a shit host.

BitOfFun · 16/08/2020 04:19

So you're ok with changing their sheets, as long as they haven't had sex? Grin

BitOfFun · 16/08/2020 04:21

Mind you, thinking about it, how much fluid is actually produced? Surely you'd just nip to the loo immediately afterwards?
