He's just got back from Aldi and says no one was at the door monitoring how many people were going in and 'it was like lockdown was completely over'. So he decided to get a few extra loo rolls as he's certain a second wave is inevitable a lot sooner than everyone thinks.

So is he a) Completely crackers = YABU

or b) Sensible = YANBU

Buying 9 loo rolls instead of 4 hardly classifies as panic buying :)

YABU for hoarding loo roll, if noone was panic buying the first time it wouldn't have caused so many issues with supply.

YANBU for thinking there will be a second wave very soon.

Christ, is this still going on? It was NINE toilet rolls in ONE pack.

Get a grip man Grin

@Ethelfleda

I literally did not change my shopping patterns at all at the start of lock down - no panic buying, no ‘buying just a few extra’ (what’s the fucking difference??) and has absolutely no problems at all. If nobody panic buys then nobody else needs to.
Same for me. Everything I bought got used.

FFS, it was a pack of 9 toilet rolls, that's 5 more than he would normally buy.

I buy the packs of 24, not to hoard but because it's better value. I presume that makes me a hoarder to some on here Grin
