Have just been watching the PE with him after being recommended it and maybe he’s having an off day but oh my, AIBU to ask if he seems so moany and whiny, not to mention he seems so out of breath. I’ve not seen him before - is this usual for him? I found the exercises ok so would watch again if this was just an off day

Yes I did, she was adorable.

Michaelbaubles · 02/05/2020 19:36

We loved little Zog!

Muminho · 03/05/2020 00:06

Bless him, he's a sweet guy who tries really hard and I've got so much fitter from doing 'PE' every day for 6 weeks or whatever it is now. It's probably not that great for little ones but DD9 has done it every day and it's been a positive way to start these strange lockdown days together.

noblegiraffe · 03/05/2020 00:08

Just saw the video of him with his hand in iced water then going to do the Friday PE session. Such a sweetheart not wanting to let people down.

Littlelemonposset · 03/05/2020 21:09

Watched the Friday one this week and it was totally different so I can kinda see what people mean. Maybe just an off day tgrn

I'd like to see Joe Wicks vs John Wick Grin

GinWithASplashOfTonic · 03/05/2020 21:19

I may have got slightly broody on Friday with zog and the baby.

MeanMrMustardSeed · 03/05/2020 21:28

He’s absolutely brilliant. It adds structure to the day and some days we do it more seriously than others. I think it’s amazing how he carried on on Friday morning in so much pain. And the way he’s up for giving anything a try!

covetingthepreciousthings · 03/05/2020 22:01

If anyone wants a laugh, go have a look at his most recent Insta stories, about the pictures from the paps outside his house Grin

BlackAndWhiteCat01 · 03/05/2020 22:09

I think it’s great he’s still going, but I have to echo a previous posters thoughts of a lack of warm up and cool down. That bothers me big time

peekaboob · 04/05/2020 09:40

Loved Rosie!

Abreadsandwich · 04/05/2020 09:44

I was very jealous impressed how fit and toned she was a few months after having a baby!

Waxonwaxoff0 · 04/05/2020 09:48

Rosie was really good! You can tell she's not keen on being in the spotlight but she did well.

TheFormidableMrsC · 04/05/2020 10:03

I think he's fab. There are also loads of his workouts to choose from on YouTube. I'd also recommend Fitness Blender and Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. All short workouts with noticeable results. A few have mentioned Joe is breathless at times but he's asthmatic. I think he's very motivating for kids!

covetingthepreciousthings · 04/05/2020 10:18

Loved Rosie this morning, she seemed quite nervous but it was lovely to see them together.

GinWithASplashOfTonic · 04/05/2020 10:38

Me and dm preferred the set up this morning with Rosie taking part too. Like joe was able to actually show a bit more what exercise should look like.

Also smashed my squat and push up goal from last month best not to mention the burpees

covetingthepreciousthings · 04/05/2020 11:57

Although I really want to know how they managed to keep both the kids entertained and quiet for that full half an hour!? Grin

noblegiraffe · 04/05/2020 12:25

I like to think that offscreen the kids were stuffing their faces with Easter eggs.

Witchofzog · 04/05/2020 14:26

I don't know anymore. It felt like everytime she spoke he interrupted her. I hope he isn't like that normally and it was just nerves from being away from the norm as she seemed lovely. And as for having a figure like that 3 months after having a baby- she is awesome. Team Rosie Grin

michaelbaubles · 04/05/2020 14:30

I thought maybe she'd said she really didn't want to present it and he'd said "you just do the exercises, I'll do the talking bit, don't worry" so that was why he kept jumping in to talk. And I think he feel bad about not being able to do it himself. I know if someone was helping me teach I'd be unbearable!

Isn't his brother helping with it? Maybe he was babysitting.

fiddlysticks · 04/05/2020 14:38

We did it once and got bored of him talking so much. Couldn't see what the fuss was about. Good of him to do it though.

covetingthepreciousthings · 04/05/2020 16:21

Isn't his brother helping with it? Maybe he was babysitting.

His brother is doing it through the earphones via his phone, so presumably at his own house.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 04/05/2020 19:07

We were wondering where the children were too. Maybe a family member popped in to babysit. Seemed amazing they didn’t cry. So must have been somewhere being looked after.

Abreadsandwich · 04/05/2020 20:44

Not only they didnt cry but if I had a 3 or 4 month old baby and a toddler I wouldnt have been able to do a burpee or ten million squats to concentrate on "just exercising" without wondering what they were doing. Quietness with toddlers always roused suspicion, especially with DS - he would probably be unravelling an entire toilet roll and blocking the loo, or taking a bite out of every cake in the tin, for example!!

Nosuchluck · 04/05/2020 21:42

Maybe they have staff.
