I’m at a grand total of 5 pounds!

Anyone else finding they’re gaining weight?

OP posts:
KatherineJaneway · 19/04/2020 07:41

Me Sad I'm trying but I can't be as active as I normally am.

paperandfireworks · 19/04/2020 07:41

Same- 5lbs also!

justanotherneighinparadise · 19/04/2020 07:41

Same.

Lalala89 · 19/04/2020 07:42

4kg in 4weeks. Soooo much baking and more time focused on meals. I used to average on 15-20k steps a day. Now probably only about 6k. I feel so shit about it!

sucha · 19/04/2020 07:43

Just got in the scales yesterday, 2lb.
My work trousers are tighter though so I think I’m getting less toned. Need to up the movement, down the biscuits...and Easter eggs

Chattercino · 19/04/2020 07:43

I dread to think. But I can't carry on like this as it's adding to my bad mood. I'm planning to stop tomorrow and start a healthier lifestyle Confused

Pogopogopogo · 19/04/2020 07:45

Not checked Blush I'm going on the scales tomorrow and then going to starve myself slim. I'm trying Purition meal replacements for lunch time as that's the meal I struggle to eat healthily. Fingers crossed it works.

ImPeckish · 19/04/2020 07:45

I've lost 2lbs so far but I've upped my exercise, and being mindful not to snack. It's not easy!

muddledmidget · 19/04/2020 07:47

6lbs and I will be starting a new diet today. Last night I recorded my highest ever weight, and if I don't do something it's just going to get worse while all this is going on

StepAwayFromGoogle · 19/04/2020 07:48

About 1,546 lbs.

puffinandkoala · 19/04/2020 07:49

I haven't been near the scales to find out Grin

I suspect a couple of lb but clothes fit and aren't tight. However, I can't do less and eat the same or perhaps slightly more and not gain any weight at all.

BatshitCrazyWoman · 19/04/2020 07:49

I don't have scales but all my clothes still fit, so very little if any.

I'm working out far more though.

PussyWillowPeach · 19/04/2020 07:51

I’m the opposite, I’ve lost 11lb but we’ve stopped all takeaways. Tbf I needed to lose some weight anyways.

Almahart · 19/04/2020 07:52

7 ibs Sad

Northernsoullover · 19/04/2020 07:52

I've lost about 7lb. Anxiety steals my appetite.

Blue565 · 19/04/2020 07:52

I've lost a fair bit but that's because my job is office based in the city so would have unhealthy lunches, cakes, lattes etc

Being home has stopped all that

FoolishWife · 19/04/2020 07:55

Half a stone! I didn't hear for the first whole week either as I was so stressed and upset about something.
I've not really left the house in rheboast few weeks and although I've been on the exercise bike I'm nowhere near as active as I was and definately eating more snackwise.

Squirrelblanket · 19/04/2020 07:55

Mine has stayed exactly the same. Most weeks I've been very healthy Mon to Thurs and then Friday to Sunday it's all about wine and crisps so I'm pretty happy to have maintained! Grin

It's my birthday next week and I have decided that after that I'm going to try reign the weekends in a bit as I do need to lose some weight.

Humphriescushion · 19/04/2020 08:00

I am to scared to weigh. I have been comfort eating. I estimate half a stone at least. I am going to leave it for a week and then start to do something about it.

Ponoka7 · 19/04/2020 08:00

10lbs and I can really feel it. I'm in the shielding group. I think we should have had a system with Argos were we could get exercise equipment delivered, because for us, this isn't going to end until a vaccine is found.

I don't live in a area where i could go for a walk late at night.

rottiemum88 · 19/04/2020 08:05

Roughly 3-5 lbs down, depending on the day. Our diet hasn't changed, but I'm now making an effort to get out at least once a day for exercise, where before lockdown I only did this on a weekend (if at all Blush). I'm at the lower end of my healthy weight range anyway so it was never a major concern, but it's been an eye opener as to how much of a difference it can make, moreso in terms of how I feel than my weight. In going to try to keep it up post lockdown

CoffeeRevelLove · 19/04/2020 08:06

I've gained a stone SadI've been managing the situation at work and surviving off of biscuits and chocolate. Trying to get back on track today. I've packed lunch and a snack . I really struggle with sugar addiction/binging so I'm just going to have to cut out processed sugar.

I'm all puffy so some of it is likely inflammation and I'm taking strong opiates that are blocking me up a bit, so I'm hoping it's not as bad as it looks

Ratonastick · 19/04/2020 08:06

Technically only a lb or two. BUT I have gained half a stone since Christmas and a couple of stone since I was at my best fighting weight and I had planned to start shifting it as the weather improved and I could get out more.

Though frankly with the amount I have been drinking, steady state is quite an achievement!

beela · 19/04/2020 08:08

I lost weight to start with as I was so stressed that my appetite just went.

Now I'm used to it, plus we have lots of chocolate still lying around from Easter so I think I'm back to square one.

I don't think I'm eating much more but I am so conscious of the massive reduction in my activity levels. Even on a day in the office I would usually walk a couple of miles just from the car park or between meetings.

mommybear1 · 19/04/2020 08:08

6lbs. Awful. I need to exercise more and stop drinking once I have a drink the odd bag (or 2/3) creep in.
