I’m at a grand total of 5 pounds!

Anyone else finding they’re gaining weight?

I'm maintaining but I should be losing as I've upped exercise... But also still eating the easter chocolate Sad. Unfortunately I have zero self control with chocolate (it's the only thing for me, fine with other unhealthy foods but chocolate is like crack cocaine for me) so usually we just don't have it in the house.

It will be gone in about a week so hoping the additional exercise will start to have an impact then.

Frouby · 19/04/2020 08:11

3kgs. Approximately 2.8kg of which is wine or beer.

Diet starts tomorrow. I had a good 5kg to lose pre lockdown. Clothes are getting snug now.

Did PE with Joe Wickes on Thursday with the kids and it's only today I don't ache like a bitch. Am starting c25k tomorrow with the kids and also do 10k walking steps and step away from the beer.

Oysterbabe · 19/04/2020 08:11

I haven't put any on. I have to watch my weight all the time as a gain very easily. I've been intermittent fasting to keep things under control.

ohmysoul · 19/04/2020 08:14

2lbs at the moment. Before lockdown started I'd lost 35lbs with 15lbs to go so I've had a word with myself and am trying to see this as the perfect opportunity to lose the last stone or so.

Weekday28 · 19/04/2020 08:15

I had put on 4lbs but I've been good these last 2 weeks except a take a way on Saturday nights which we never did before Corona! And now need to lose 2 more lbs to get back to my normal weight. I have been exercising a lot though which I wouldn't normally but I use to walk every where and now I cant get in as many steps even with a really long walk.

Falafellygood · 19/04/2020 08:15

I think I've stayed the same TBH. I'm grazing a bit more even when I'm not hungry but still running around with the kids so has kind of evened out.

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 19/04/2020 08:17

The scales say none but my stomach is enormous and bloaty. I've been alternating running with strength training, plus walking the dog on the non-run days. But I've also been drinking loads and snacking as I'm obviously Just here all the time. Add to that all the baking, plus Easter eggs and it's just a disaster. We're having a sugar free week starting from tomorrow, incl. no booze, so that's a start.

Alwaysthesun · 19/04/2020 08:18

Lost a couple of pounds, but have been exercising more and lock down has preventing me getting my hands on too many snacks! Not commuting had left me time to work out.

Ivebeentohellanditscalledikea · 19/04/2020 08:18

I had lost a stone before this started and have put half of it back on. I usually do about 15000 steps a day but now only do 6000. I've been feeling really down and stressed. I'm on my own with 3 children one with ASD and it's been just us for 35days now not that I'm counting.

nodtik · 19/04/2020 08:19

5lbs here too 😱😱

Whoops! And I've upped my exercise too ...... clearly upped my calorie intake more though 😂😂😂

percentageshelp · 19/04/2020 08:19

None, I'm 8 weeks pregnant though and have food aversion. I'm sure i'll make up for it soon enough.

JungleGiraffe · 19/04/2020 08:19

Only about 1-2kg, which I feel like should be a lot more given that I've not been exercising as much, I've been eating nothing but chocolate, & I'm pregnant! Must be the lack of wine I guess...

Dontunderestimateme · 19/04/2020 08:20

I've gained a couple of kg. I am doing a lot more walking than usual, but also spending a lot more time in the house with nothing to do but eat.

Bagelsandbrie · 19/04/2020 08:20

Half a stone. Even though I’ve started couch to 5k and have been walking for 1-2 hours a day (live rurally and lots of country walks etc). I should be about 9 stone surely...?! (Instead of the 13 I am)!

BeyondMyWits · 19/04/2020 08:20

Lost 7lb here - am eating more healthily as we have an occasional Tesco delivery which we share with MIL - 80 items max, so much less junk!

Caramel78 · 19/04/2020 08:21

I’ve put on about 3lbs.
Eaten so much choc around Easter and my DP’s bday. I need to do more exercise too

Macncheeseballs · 19/04/2020 08:21

I've stayed he same I think but exercising more regularly vosnof lock down

1point21gigawatts · 19/04/2020 08:21

The first 3 weeks (we've home for 5) I ate and ate constantly. Felt awful for it. Weighed myself one evening and I had put on nearly a stone Shock So I

1point21gigawatts · 19/04/2020 08:22

Oops,

I made a decision to stop. Got back on ww and have lost 7lb in two weeks. Finding it hard though.

CarolineIngalls · 19/04/2020 08:23

Three lbs up despite running every day.
A go a few days careful eating, few days boredom eating, repeat.

devildeepbluesea · 19/04/2020 08:23

I've probably lost a couple of lbs, would be more if not for the wine!! I'm doing rather better on avoiding snacking, which has really surprised me.

I've also upped my exercise massively, just for something to do. So I have Les Mills Online which I do 3-4 times per week, I've added in a daily 15mins of yoga (which is all I can stomach because it's so BORING!!). I also run online classes in a form of HIIT for friends and family, and I'm really making the most of my daily exercise with long walks or runs.

nonicks · 19/04/2020 08:25

Too bloody much!
I keep looking at myself expanding in the mirror.
No particular reason other than ‘fuck it, I don’t see anyone anyway’!
Can’t carry on like this though because once lockdown relaxes I’ll have to be airlifted out. Ok maybe an exaggeration but I haven’t been this big since I have birth 16 years ago!
Bugger, tomorrow, yes tomorrow is the start of my healthy eating.

mummyof2boys30 · 19/04/2020 08:26

1lb down. I'm still working though and still doing my gym workouts from home. I could very easily of went the other way but it's taken me almost a year of daily gym to get to the weight I am now so don't want to blow all my hard work

GeraniumJohnsonsBlue · 19/04/2020 08:27

None, but my plans to lose lots aren't exactly going well.

tiredanddangerous · 19/04/2020 08:30

I’m too scared to get on the scales. Also too scared to put on anything that doesn’t have an elasticated waist. I’ve managed to get myself under control a bit more over the last few day’s though, and feeling better about myself.
