Pissed off at being pulled over by friend AIBU

I was out with a friend who has issues walking. She’s the same size as me. The ground was uneven so she held onto me to offer more support which was fine, she joked and said if I fall over your coming with me.

She did fall over & I did go with her. I am actually pretty pissed off. Am I being a little precious? I don’t want to overreact.

I didn’t hurt myself bad just a banged knee & bruises etc.

Geeze, with friends like you, who needs enemies ?

Some of these responses are ridiculous.

Your “friend” should have a walking stick or other mobility aid. I would help support someone who needed it of course but I bruise really badly and have had torn ligaments in my legs so could end up in a bad way if someone dragged me to the ground. Accidents happen of course but if she’s not using a mobility aid expecting her friend to be the fall guy that seems a bit crap of her

Oaft! What a bitch! I mean you Op, not your friend. Fuck having a friend like you!!

CarolinaPink · 19/02/2020 21:59

Presumably she dragged you down because she was afraid and panicking!

Bloody hell... when people are falling to the ground instinct takes over. I'm not sure why you call yourself a friend if this is your reaction.
