The Royal ‘resignation’ was masterminded by the Queen

to take the attention away from the fact they probably have a sex offender in the family I.e. Prince Andrew. Who’s with me??
The timing is very convenient, and the royal household/ mandarins are certainly making a lot more fuss about this than they did about Prince Andrews friendship with a pedophile...
I think Harry is taking one for the team.

I remember last time there was a fuss over something Harry and Meghan did, that coincided with revelations about Prince Andrew. Hmmm, wouldn't be surprised!

1Morewineplease · 09/01/2020 22:39

Just want ‘those two’ to go, along with all the other hangers on!

7salmonswimming · 09/01/2020 22:41

Creme eggs already?

Steady on, love.

Dahlietta · 09/01/2020 22:44

Nah. It was Zara.

GoFiguire · 09/01/2020 22:45

The butler did it.

Chuffit · 09/01/2020 22:46

In the cellar.
I always knew there was something shifty about that butler.

UsedtobeFeckless · 09/01/2020 22:48

It was Miss Scarlet, with the lead pipe, in the Conservatory.

Chestnut time was a few weeks ago! Sprung pole.

There was a breeze blowing the flag on the moon.

They all tried today, Harry, Zara and it was Kate's birthday. I wonder what Peter Philips will do tomorrow...

Well, she peed off back to Canada last night and negotiations are said to only going to take a few days so Harry will be back in the bosom of his family early next week. Hopefully the press will then shut up about it all.

PortiaCastis · 09/01/2020 22:52

It has to be Dave it's always friggin Dave or should that be Colin, anyway the media have whipped up a frenzy as usual everyone and his missus are falling for it when meanwhile .............

tillytrotter1 · 09/01/2020 22:52

I just had my first creme egg of the season.

I'm still ploughing through a mountain of Hotel Chocolat and Bendicks bittermints, at least I've taught my family taste! It's a tough job but someone has to do it.

AutumnCrow · 09/01/2020 22:58

Oh my god have you SEEN Peter Philips's twitter??!!

No, I haven't either.

But yet the cock still crows as the clock strikes the quarter hour.

Bluerussian · 09/01/2020 22:58

I don't see how Harry is taking anything, he and his wife have just made a decision about what they want to do in the future which is not unreasonable.

The Epstein business has generally gone quiet, the FBI are doing some digging and we won't hear any more of that until more facts come to light. Ghislane Maxwell is apparently co-operating with them. Andrew's connection is a small one, his mistake being loosely friendly with people like GM and JE as were many other in high places; if PA hadn't been a royal we'd probably never have heard anything about him, he's very small fry in this story. He isn't the only person to have had association with a sex offender and been found guilty by association but people like Epstein are good at hiding things and very plausible.

There's a ridiculous programme on television at the moment about Harry giving up being a senior role; I have noticed that none of the people interviewed are close friends or family - mainly media people. It's all hearsay and let's face it, close friends and family would not be drawn into talking about such personal things.

The Daily Mail are in their element, quoting the ‘palace’ here there and everywhere. Who are the ‘palace’? The Queen May have masterminded this puppy but I can’t see she has the energy for all this out put.

No - but thats bound to be a decoy to throw us off what’s really happened here. He’s too ordinary ( for a royal obvs) to have any real power.

Pin drop silence about Andrew but disappoint about Harry. Says it all really.

Chuffit · 09/01/2020 23:06

I think Prince Phil should give a broadcast, like the queen does on xmas day.
I bet the amount of bleeping would amount to more than the actual permitted words would.

'Hello and thank you for joining me. I am here to address the nation regarding ones bleep up family.
As you know my dear wife Elisabeth, Your royal highness, the queen and i have a bleep family who bleep bleep Andrew bleeeeep Harry and Meghan are bleep bleep bleeeeep.

Good evening and welcome to the BBC News. Prince Phillip was tonight stretchered out of the BBC studio while addressing the nation in a live speech this evening. The Doctors treating him have said that his blood pressure has calmed slightly in the past two hours and he is no longer rocking in a corner whilst singing God Save The Queen.
