I have a bath once or more a week, depending on double dipping with my partner. It's really ok, no one will notice the difference, apart from the environment..

Ok.

There is a point I'm assuming?

NotSayingAWord · 01/09/2019 21:05

Hmm

Fabulousinmyforties · 01/09/2019 21:07

Washing just once a week is grim!

Krisskrosskiss · 01/09/2019 21:07

Completely depends on the individual person... their size, weight, age, hairyness, how much they sweat, how hot it is etc etc
Some people can shower every few days and be totally fine... my mum only washes her hair once q week and still looks and smells great.. but I do know people who shower twice a day and need to!
I bath every morning (we dont have a shower) but I used to shower every other day and only wash my hair twice a week when I was younger. Now ive had two kids though I do find I need to wash fully every morning in the bath or I'd stink!

Worgust · 01/09/2019 21:08

Thank you for sharing.

Itsjustafly · 01/09/2019 21:09

I'd be inclined to think you probably smell a bit unpleasant. 1 bath a week is not enough, even with a couple of armpit washes thrown in.

CodenameVillanelle · 01/09/2019 21:09

Of course people notice stinky sue

isabellerossignol · 01/09/2019 21:10

There are plenty of sacrifices that I am happy to make for the environment but smelling bad isn't one of them.

timshelthechoice · 01/09/2019 21:10

Of course people notice. Minging. Double dipping, rank.

DragonMamma · 01/09/2019 21:11

I bet you do smell.

It’s not just pits that smell, you know?!

Grim.

Schuyler · 01/09/2019 21:11

You probably smell. Why don’t you even wash your armpits?

EinsteinsArousedSausagesHCB · 01/09/2019 21:13

That's nice.

Batshittery · 01/09/2019 21:13

And? Your AIBU is what?
Just grim Confused

justforthisnow · 01/09/2019 21:13

I work with someone who does not believe in bathing, or showering, on a regular basis. It's not pretty.

NotSayingAWord · 01/09/2019 21:14

If its the environment what you care about why don't you bath with a bucket. Fill 0.5 litre with soapy water. Wash. Rinse with 1 litre bottle.

The environment and your partner will appreciate it.

Sarahlou63 · 01/09/2019 21:14

Nothing wrong with that, most people over wash. Just be prepared for the tidal wave of eeuuuuussss!

Wafflecopter · 01/09/2019 21:14

What a strange post, are we meant to be impressed or inspired?

Batshittery · 01/09/2019 21:14

Grin @febrezing thread

MIdgebabe · 01/09/2019 21:15

When I have to go a week between proper shower, I scrub a lot more than the armpits. Full body scrub with flannel and soap takevery little water or time.

Northernsoullover · 01/09/2019 21:15

To you post this deliberately just to get us all in a lather? Wink

Northernsoullover · 01/09/2019 21:16

*did you
Stupid phone.

WeWantSweet · 01/09/2019 21:19

Lol, I think it's an age thing not an actual minging thing. Try it, you might be surprised and save money too.

Is nasal sensitivity like eyesight?

Sparklingbrook · 01/09/2019 21:21

Fine. But why do we need to know?

Passthecherrycoke · 01/09/2019 21:23

Urgh. I hope double dipping doesn’t mean what i think it does.

How would it save money? Maybe if you’re on a water meter and live alone. Personally I’d rather pay the couple of quid a week and be clean
