To feel sorry for Meghan Markle - she looked lonely holding baby Archie at the Polo game

Did anyone else think Meghan Markle looked sad and lonely while holding baby Archie at Harry's polo game yesterday? There she was in the sunshine with her new baby while approx 2 metres away was her sister in law Kate completely wrapped up in her own children looking smug and not even glancing in poor Meghan's direction. There were loads of pictures taken and not one showed her chatting to Meghan or even looking at her, complete zero effort. The only ones who seemed to interact with Meghan and Archie were 1 year old Prince Louis and Harry when he finished the game! Kate is obviously not as sweet or friendly as she'd like the public to believe. Meghan gets so much criticism but she comes across as more down to earth and genuine.

If she had Archie in a pram she would be accused of disengaging and hiding her baby away she can do no right.

Poor women can’t do right for doing wrong. What a goldfish bowl. No thank you - not for all their squillions.

MarshaBradyo · 11/07/2019 16:36

She probably wanted the photographers to leave them alone more than anything

SleepingStandingUp · 11/07/2019 16:36

Mrsjayy she just needs to be as perfect as Kate apparently

Raffles1981 · 11/07/2019 16:37

I saw photos of her and the DoC chatting and smiling. And to me, she looked like a new mum. In a bubble, but still figuring it all out

Mrsjayy · 11/07/2019 16:39

In the Hello pictures they are together just Kate is bending /sitting down

This thread!! The jealousy of some over a brand new mum (on a parenting site, no less) is palpable.

Get a life those of you bitchin' it up about Meghan, she's very vulnerable, just gave birth for first time 2 months ago (surely you remember that), living away from her own country + friends, in an extraordinary situation, seemingly hated by half of the UK..
The Press breathes down her neck, speculating on every damn thing she + Harry do , putting a negative spin on anything they can, even stuff as simple as wanting their own space and identity away from The Cambridges was a "feud". These ppl are in their 30s, they aren't into Besties 4evah.

This obsessive attention , carping + intrusion where the public think they are owed access to every single part of their lives, led to the death of Princess Diana. Harry in particular must absolutely hate it, + I hope he is protecting both her and himself from most of it.

Mrsjayy · 11/07/2019 16:40

And the are laughing at Louis toddler antics

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 11/07/2019 16:41

Married in to Royalty.
Just had a gorgeous new baby boy. Never having to worry where the money is coming from to ensure he has the best of everything. Never having to worry where this months mortgage is coming from. Sorry, no I'm not feeling any pity.

shartsi · 11/07/2019 16:41

Frankly I don't see what's wrong with the way she is holding her baby. That is how I hold mine. Clearly the baby is comfortable, he isn't crying.

Borisdaspide · 11/07/2019 16:47

In one picture the face she's pulling is a proper sniffing baby poo one. Given her background I bet she'd love to have a sling but then the Hyacinths would be up in arms about her hiding him away

SunshineCake · 11/07/2019 16:48

FFS OP you're talking bollocks. Looking smug? Being left out? It's a moment in time and you're talking bollocks.

CallaLilli · 11/07/2019 16:49

I did like Meghan but I am steadily going right off her and her Hollywood antics.

Who knew watching your husband play sport while holding a baby qualifies as "Hollywood antics"? Damn, I should've taken advantage and demanded to be treated like a star all the times I went to watch DH play cricket when DD was tiny!

Mrsjayy · 11/07/2019 16:49

Poo sniffing faceGrin

Borisdaspide · 11/07/2019 16:49

How is this hiding away so noone can see him?

Hope this isn't yet another thinly disguised Meghan bashing post, designed to get posters to talk about how horrible she is and how Kate didn't want to talk to her.

LaurieMarlow · 11/07/2019 16:54

It’s tough carrying a baby of that age for any length of time without a sling.

CallaLilli · 11/07/2019 16:54

Meghan was hiding behind her Hollywood sunglasses

That's up there with "flaunting her curves" (ie, "goes out wearing clothes") in pure Daily Mail speak! Next time I head out on a sunny day I'll be sure to wear sunglasses hide behind my Hollywood sunglasses...

NoSauce · 11/07/2019 16:55

Hope this isn't yet another thinly disguised Meghan bashing post

Wouldn’t be surprised and they usually aren’t even thinly disguised.

Rosehip10 · 11/07/2019 16:57

Meghan has an arrogant attitude.

SleepingStandingUp · 11/07/2019 16:57

She is wrapped up hiding her baby how exactly would you have her hold her 2 month old baby than snuggled in to her?

Kate never took the babies at this age out where there was press so i'm surprised #teamKateastheonlyprincesswecaneverloveafterDiana are accusing her of hiding him, rather than trashily showing him off in the hope that there will be press photos she can complain about

NoSauce · 11/07/2019 17:01

Meghan has an arrogant attitude

Oh someone on MN actually knows her then. In what capacity?

PeachBlack · 11/07/2019 17:01

I don’t care how she holds the baby, I do care about her and prince pants spending huge amounts of taxpayers money on Frogspawn cottage when so many people in the UK have to rely on food banks now because of years of cruel government austerity policies.

If they hate being ‘working royals’ (an oxymoron if ever there was one), give up the title, Civil List allowance, grace and favour accommodation and other privileges, and go live on your own money.

SunshineCake · 11/07/2019 17:02

This is not thinly disguised!
