To feel sorry for Meghan Markle - she looked lonely holding baby Archie at the Polo game

Did anyone else think Meghan Markle looked sad and lonely while holding baby Archie at Harry's polo game yesterday? There she was in the sunshine with her new baby while approx 2 metres away was her sister in law Kate completely wrapped up in her own children looking smug and not even glancing in poor Meghan's direction. There were loads of pictures taken and not one showed her chatting to Meghan or even looking at her, complete zero effort. The only ones who seemed to interact with Meghan and Archie were 1 year old Prince Louis and Harry when he finished the game! Kate is obviously not as sweet or friendly as she'd like the public to believe. Meghan gets so much criticism but she comes across as more down to earth and genuine.

I don't particularly want to derail the thread, but Kate has quite clearly come in for ridiculous criticism for perfectly normal behaviour just has MM has.

Well after today's pictures from Wimbledon I'd say the duchess' are probably on decent terms and They were both just concentrating on their children at the polo match

I think the whole feuding thing is totally down to the media. William & Harry have always seemed close. Catherine came on the scene & the 3 of them seemed to get on great. But Harry's role in that was again the spare.

Now hes married its natural their lives are less linked. Their priorities have changed which is how it should be. Instead of it being natural and how things work in most families the media have to make stories up.

As to Kate & Meghan not getting on theres been no evidence of that. They're very different people, different personalities, different priorities & different roles in life

I've got a SIL who I get on well with. Were not friends though. We get on great when were together but basically have no contact with each other other than family get togethers. It's no reflection on us and weve never fallen out were just not friends. That's how it is with most of my friends and their ILs too.

Put the Cambridges & Sussexes situation in a normal non Royal Family & it would almost certainly be considered the norm.

Redglitter is right. They don't have to be best friends. Most Sils aren't. They probably have a similar, friendly but not bezzies relationship that millions of other women do.

You can’t tell anything from a photo. The pictures of them together at Wimbledon showed them laughing together and apparently having a rare old time. It’s impossible to know what the relationship is really like.

Whereas I saw an uncomfortable couple happily interacting with people around them (Kate was clearly longing to give Federer a hug!) but not addressing each other much! It's all in the eye of the beholder!
