I absolutely love Martin Clunes! I fancy him so much even though he’s older than my dad. He’s just seems so nice and funny.
Anyone else?!

I bumped into him at a festival a few years ago. He was lovely and a true gentleman. I don’t fancy him but he is a lovely man.

I’ve met him at work. I’ve met a lot of celebrities and I have to say that he was the most genuine, friendly, down to earth celeb I’ve ever met. (Can’t say that I fancied him though, plus his lovely wife was with him).

We saw him a long time ago as Disneyland Paris with (I assume!) his kids. They were playing walking on a small wall. They looked to be having a lovely time messing about together.

It was a tiny snapshot of course but he was completely absorbed in them and they in him, it was very sweet.

I normally fancy people based on personality and he just seems so lovely. And I agree- lovely voice too!

Was at a big dog show a few years ago where there was a demonstration by a team of women who train dogs for TV programmes etc. One of the dogs was the one from Doc Martin (that the doc keeps shooing away). Apparently when they film it, MC refuses to shout "go away" (or whatever) to the dog - he loves dogs IRL - so he just silently mouths it and his voiceover is done afterwards in the studio.

I was at drama school with him, years ago. He was a thoroughly lovely chap. Talk to anyone and no airs and graces (which was more than could be said of one of our best loved female comedians - every time I see her in TV I shudder!).

I’ve loved him ever since Men Behaving Badly. He’s one of the few actors who can play comedy and are convincing in more serious roles. Thought he was outstanding jnnthe recent Manhunt on ITV. Someone should tweet him about this thread.
