I absolutely love Martin Clunes! I fancy him so much even though he’s older than my dad. He’s just seems so nice and funny.

Martin Clunes and Joanna Lumley have the most lovely, calming and soothing voices on British TV. Love everything that Martin Clunes has been in he comes across as a very nice guy when being interviewed.

A while back he was presenting Have I Got News for You. They played a really stupid clip which made me laugh my head off. Camera went back to Martin, who'd also burst out laughing in a lovely spontaneous way. So we have the same daft sense of humour. I like him even more now.

That YouTube clip doesn’t show Martin in a bad way. Poor chap. Loading his veg into his car. The motorcyclist was rather annoying. Made the motorcycle look like a nasty man.

I thought Martin handled the parking space altercation reasonably - okay, he shouldn't have been parked in that space, but as he says, it's not the same as parking in a disabled space at all. He could have got arsey in return, but he didn't. And anyway, we all have our off days.

And of course, motorcyclists NEVER park in car spaces usually right back inside them so you think the space is empty and actually turn into it and then find too late that you'll have to go back and the car behind is now right up your bumper do they? Salt of the earth, motorcycles in car-parking spaces 'course, salt kills earth.

My adult dc bumped into him and other cast members when they were in Cornwall a few years ago. She sent me a selfie she took with Clunes. 😍

The sheer pageantry DOES look fabulous Hester - but the reality of it is appalling.

I read somewhere, maybe here a few years ago , that he'd assisted a young woman whose car had been blocked in by an illegally parked van by smashing the van side window with a brick and moving it for her ..a true gent !

He lives near my granny and is seen locally as a nice chap. That said I don’t get fancying him !
