I absolutely love Martin Clunes! I fancy him so much even though he’s older than my dad. He’s just seems so nice and funny.
Anyone else?!

His daughter went to the local state 6th form school and she and my DS were quite good pals.

She and her father obviously had a normal parent / teenager relationship too - she was also very down to earth and not at all spoiled. National treasure or not, she used to be as embarrassed about him as any teenager is about their middle aged parents. Which I thought was lovely!

Aha, maybe owmyback. Caroline Q did go to ArtsEd. Mind you, she did a season at The RSC fairly recently, a friend there spoke highly of her.

Friend of mine lived down he same road as him when he lived in London. Said he was most unfriendly, never spoke to anyone. Very pleased when he left.

I was going to mention the fox hunting Estersue.
I used to like him til I found out about that.
Obviously his love of animals doesn’t extend to foxes...unless it’s seeing them get torn to bits!

He was in No Place Like Home back in the 80s which was very funny and he was quite handsome then. It's on YouTube and worth a watch.

Doesn't sound as nice a person as he looks though. Wasn't there something in the papers a while back about him parking in disabled spaces and hurling abuse at those that dared to confront him about it?
And he tried claiming his cosmetic surgery on his tax return - as if he needs the extra money 🤔😒.

My mum does inform me he's very good with horses and does a lot for animal charities so that makes him perfect apparently haha.
