What is the one thing you can eat on it's very own, although some people find it repulsive?

For me it's cheese! Any kind of cheese!!!! I am in LOVE with CHEESE!!! Cream cheese, cheddar cheese, brie, mozzarella, provolone, you get the idea! Grin

However, I have a friend tell me that she thought it was disgusting! Shock even though she relished ketchup sandwiches! Blergh!

I knew another guy who could simply eat a raw onion like an apple, no problem! My autist mind thought, "I wonder if he will be a serial killer one day?" I know, I'm weird! HA!

What one food do you enjoy tremendously on it's own, but according to some people, it makes them want to gag?

Pâté! I just love it

cindersrella · 09/01/2019 23:19

However my hips seem to love it too 😂

Cold baked beans. In fact anything cold. Pizza, sausages.

SaucyJack · 09/01/2019 23:20

Marmite. Quite like it off a spoon.

AnnDerry · 09/01/2019 23:20

Marzipan. Beautiful stuff, especially in slices. The rest of my family tolerate a bit on fruit cake. I'd rather just have the block of marzipan and forget the cake.

Urbanbeetler · 09/01/2019 23:21

Boiled lentils, bit of salt and pepper.

ThunderInMyHeart · 09/01/2019 23:22

Ribena/cordials undiluted
Lemons
Mayonnaise

MapleSpice · 09/01/2019 23:22

Branston. Straight out of the jar with a long handled teaspoon Grin and pickled onions! Both literally by the jar, I have no self control with pickles... also gherkins! The list goes on.

3out · 09/01/2019 23:22

How can cheese be repulsive?! (Unless your friend is vegan)

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 09/01/2019 23:27

Cheese and pate are delish.

I am never found standing over the kitchen sink with a jar of pickled beetroot and a fork... Hmm

auffahren · 09/01/2019 23:27

Cold baked beans.

Marmite.

Cold baked beans with an oxo cube crumbled in! Amazing! Also, tinned sweetcorn with an oxo cube.

Also, a crumbled up oxo cube on its own.

Donkdonkgoo · 09/01/2019 23:27

Celery (so good for stomach, loads of antioxidants too) some find it grim but I could eat a full bunch in an evening
