For me it's cheese! Any kind of cheese!!!! I am in LOVE with CHEESE!!! Cream cheese, cheddar cheese, brie, mozzarella, provolone, you get the idea! Grin

However, I have a friend tell me that she thought it was disgusting! Shock even though she relished ketchup sandwiches! Blergh!

I knew another guy who could simply eat a raw onion like an apple, no problem! My autist mind thought, "I wonder if he will be a serial killer one day?" I know, I'm weird! HA!

What one food do you enjoy tremendously on it's own, but according to some people, it makes them want to gag?

Frozen prawns, one by one out of the freezer (still frozen).
It started as a pregnancy craving, but I still like it 15 years later.

Puggles123 · 09/01/2019 23:29

Pickled eggs

auffahren · 09/01/2019 23:30

When you say cold stuffing - do you mean cold stuffing (with sausage meat) before it's cooked? Also amazing.

PleaseLetItBeNapTime · 09/01/2019 23:30

Uncooked pasta

Biffsboys · 09/01/2019 23:30

Definitely pickled onions straight from the jar .

cindersrella · 09/01/2019 23:30

Should you eat frozen prawns? I genuinely have no idea?

auffahren · 09/01/2019 23:31

@PleaseLetItBeNapTime my DDs are uncooked pasta the other day. I was revolted.

auffahren · 09/01/2019 23:31

I’m veggie and like a cheap sage and onion stuffing. Cooked but cold. Excellent with some blue cheese too.

Also a big fan of a jar of cold pickles and a fork.

cindersrella · 09/01/2019 23:32

I also love sweet corn straight from the tin with a tea spoon and with the juice. Any other way and it doesn't taste as nice

Tartyflette · 09/01/2019 23:32

Black pudding. Raw/cold (I know it is sold ‘cooked’ but it’s usually then fried or grilled before eating. I like it that way too, btw)

hipposarerad · 09/01/2019 23:32

Yes to cheese (any kind). Also cheese sauce where I've completely deliberately accidentally made too much.

I don't do a roast dinner every Sunday, but when I do I always catch DP drinking a mug full of gravy when he's supposed to be washing up.

birdiewoof · 09/01/2019 23:32

Not me but my almost 2 year old has had a very strange love for olives since I started baby led weaning and we went out for lunch when he was around 7 months and I shared my hummus and pitta board with him 🤣

MitziK · 09/01/2019 23:33

Sage & Onion stuffing tastes better when it's still hot from the kettle, doused in butter and eaten without letting it thicken too much, like a thick bread and sage soup. None of that nasty cooking of it, though.

MotorcycleMayhem · 09/01/2019 23:33

Cold rice pudding eaten out the tin with a spoon. But only Ambrosia brand. Preferably having been in the fridge for an hour first.

Ketchup sandwiches are divine. Slathered in slices of cold butter.

ilovepixie · 09/01/2019 23:34

Burnt cold toast with loads of proper butter.

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 09/01/2019 23:34

@cindersella, me and DH love pate on it's own too! Tastes sooo good! HMMMM! Grin

Mushrooms, I'll quite often fry half a large punnet, put them in a bowl and sit and scoff the lot.

Donkdonkgoo · 09/01/2019 23:35

Anne. Yes with you on cold stuffing with cheese... also onion relish with cold stuffing goes well... thinking were heading for a tipe of ploughmans 😂

safariboot · 09/01/2019 23:36

Whole grilled trout. Had it regularly in my youth (with spuds and veg of course) and it was always a nice treat, but when my university cafeteria served it my fellow students were grossed out seeing the trout with the heads still on. Well, their loss I say.

DinoDave · 09/01/2019 23:36

Hone made gravy. Just on its own

Yep and me.

My mum once made a dinner and we did dh a takeaway as he'd been working. That evening he didn't fancy a whole dinner so just ate the meat and potatoes.

I ate the Chinese tub full of gravy with a spoon, like soup Grin Dh was horrified.

Donkdonkgoo · 09/01/2019 23:37

Raw button mushrooms

Picknickers · 09/01/2019 23:37

Raw mushrooms. Yum!

birdiewoof · 09/01/2019 23:38

Before I was veggie I could eat KFC gravy like soup 🤣

Picknickers · 09/01/2019 23:38

Lol donk crosspost!
