For me it's cheese! Any kind of cheese!!!! I am in LOVE with CHEESE!!! Cream cheese, cheddar cheese, brie, mozzarella, provolone, you get the idea! Grin

However, I have a friend tell me that she thought it was disgusting! Shock even though she relished ketchup sandwiches! Blergh!

I knew another guy who could simply eat a raw onion like an apple, no problem! My autist mind thought, "I wonder if he will be a serial killer one day?" I know, I'm weird! HA!

What one food do you enjoy tremendously on it's own, but according to some people, it makes them want to gag?

@ThunderInMyHeart, Why!!!??!! Isn't that nothing but sour? Gosh, that makes my teeth ache! Worse than Warheads!!! Confused

It is certainly sharp, but I love it! My ramped up version of the healthy ‘slice of lemon in warm water’ cleanser

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 10/01/2019 02:26

@ThunderInMyHeart, you're a better man than I am, Gunga Din! Wink

Jalapenos straight from the jar.
Ditto piri piri peppers.

Thanks for the Alba d'oro tip above. I walk past it at least once a week, but before it opens. However, tomorrow I have reason to be in that part of town in the evening, so shall be trying out their cauliflower thingy.

woolster · 10/01/2019 06:10

Lime pickle, the hotter the better, straight from the jar in the fridge door.

Shoxfordian · 10/01/2019 06:24

I could eat mango chutney from a jar

Ilnome · 10/01/2019 06:26

Fried onions (my poor partner) I just love lightly salting them and having a nibble 😍

crazyhouse123 · 10/01/2019 06:47

A whole tin of anchovies (much to dh's horror!)
Oxo cubes (beef are the best!)
Raw cake mix, so much nicer than cooked cake ...quite surprised there's any mix left for the cakes sometimes!
Peanut butter straight from the jar

Loving this thread! So many new things to try!Grin

InspectorIkmen · 10/01/2019 06:52

Frozen prawns, one by one out of the freezer (still frozen)

I seriously thought I was the only sick fucker in the world to do this until now Grin Grin

sashh · 10/01/2019 07:04

Oxo cubes, they were better when they were less crumbly.

Mummadeeze · 10/01/2019 07:07

I put fizzy vitamin tablets (like berocca) straight in my mouth rather than in water. People find that a bit weird and fascinating!

Failbydefault · 10/01/2019 07:08

Yes to raw mushrooms and sweet corn from the tin.
Also raw garlic anyone? Whole cloves.
Luckily I’m single (wonder why...😉)!

How are people eating raw mince without getting sick? 😱

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 10/01/2019 07:23

Beef or lamb dripping (lightly salted) on hot toast.
DW and DS's think it's vile. It's the best thing ever and reminds me of my childhood. Grin

cheesenpickles · 10/01/2019 07:34

Capers and piccalilli with a spoon. Grin

It isn't toxic, just unpalatable (to most people). Everyone who eats steak tartare is basically eating raw steak mince.

It's raw chicken that you really shouldn't eat.

Redact · 10/01/2019 07:49

Fish roe

FoofFighter · 10/01/2019 08:03

Cold tinned macaroni cheese straight out of the can Blush

gggrrrargh · 10/01/2019 08:03

Peanut butter straight from the jar.
Dolmino pasta sauce straight from the jar, I think it tastes delicious so whilst waiting for pasta to cook I have to stop myself eating half the sauce first.

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 10/01/2019 08:04

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats, that sounds delicious!!!! Great recommendation, thank you!

Btw, I love your username!!! We have three! Grin

Anchovies out of the jar of oil. Lush!

I also raised eyebrows over Christmas by snacking on mini silverskin onions without any cheese or crackers.

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 10/01/2019 08:05

Nutella

birdiewoof · 10/01/2019 08:08

I once came home from a party as a child and proudly announced I had eaten 28 pickles onions Grin

birdiewoof · 10/01/2019 08:08

*pickled

Pk37 · 10/01/2019 08:10

Kidney beans or chickpeas out of the tin.
When I was younger and left it the house by myself I used to make cake batter and just eat that uncookedBlush
