To strip the bed straight after sex?

What do you do? Was late last night, enjoying some fun in bed, but then the practical side of me took over. I was so conscious of the huge wet patch and then starting thinking about all the washing that needed doing without the thought of the bed sheets the fun had passed for me.
Usually we'd put a towel over the patch but it was sopping, so I stripped the sheet off. Is that really bad? Does it ruin the moment?
What do you do to avoid this situation?

well i seem to ha ha and i dont suffer from incontinence so something happens

SheBangsit · 28/10/2018 19:01

We really do appear to experience sex very differently. It's quite funny when you think of it.

scrivette · 28/10/2018 19:01

Just clench and walk to the loo!

SheBangsit · 28/10/2018 19:03

Labazs me too, and it ain't pee because 1 it's not yellow, 2 it doesn't smell like urine or anything actually 3 I'd imagine your urinary tract is sort of turned off during sex? In my imagination it is anyway.

WaxOnFeckOff · 28/10/2018 19:03

Dr google indicates that I am indeed correct.

Silvercatowner · 28/10/2018 19:05

@IAmGrootGrootGroot
Don't tell me you actually continued having sex on CRUSTY 18 MONTH OLD BEDSHEETS?
18 MONTHS?! WHAT THE ACTUAL JESUS

Bless you! I was young and in love. And nobody died. Perhaps my immune system is the stronger because of crusty bed sheets. Things were different then!

Devillanelle · 28/10/2018 19:05

Wow, you learn something new every day. I wonder why I don't squirt

AnnieAnonimouse · 28/10/2018 19:05

Good quality mattress protector washed frequently. Sheets changed at least twice a week, no other special measures taken.

Unless you move away from the ‘wet patch’ and it gets cold you don’t even notice it, but then I’m not squeemish about bodily fluids ‍🤷🏻‍♀️

On occasion if it gets cold and feels horrible we squish over to where it isn’t or put something over it. I’m not changing the sheet and mattress protector when I could be doing far nicer things.

Notacluewhatthisis · 28/10/2018 19:06

We and do do the ninja roll and I run straight to the loo. No wet patch and no towel either.

lazymum99 · 28/10/2018 19:07

on top, then let it go on his stomach Smile

DavedeeDozyBeakyMickandTich · 28/10/2018 19:08

We have issues with massive wet patches too, from me not him. If we are feeling organised we put a towel down first, if not put a towel/blanket over it after, sleep and change bedding in the morning though there has been the odd occasion where it's that bad I've just changed it straight away - doesn't take long to whip the bottom sheet off and put on a fresh one. Waterproof mattress covers are your friend! I've also thought about using one of those 'dry nights' bed pads but again comes back to being organised beforehand!

There's no wrong or right about it, everyone's different and no I don't think the mess made has any correlation to the level of fun had! Why does everyone have to make it a competition. Some women just get very wet. I think you can even get specific 'sex blankets' waterproof on one side and soft on the other for this purpose!

FieryGhoulie · 28/10/2018 19:08

I'd love a bidet. Haven't got room. A flick of a flannel just doesn't cut it sometimes.

FieryGhoulie · 28/10/2018 19:09

Oooh do they do bidets that blow dry too?? That's what I'd spend my Euro Millions on, I'd track one down.

LoniceraJaponica · 28/10/2018 19:10

“We perfected no mess sex.”

Why do people find this so difficult? Some loo roll under the pillow to mop up straight away, and nip to the bathroom – easy.
Bed mats and towels are a bit OTT.

Dermymc · 28/10/2018 19:11

Towels are used... How often do you wash them?

I can't get over the image of shagging on a puppy pad

Dermymc · 28/10/2018 19:12

😂 😂 😂 Loo roll under the pillow, no one is that organised.

DavedeeDozyBeakyMickandTich · 28/10/2018 19:16

It seems like a lot of people are assuming you're just talking about the man's patch. I read it as the op also has issues with lady wet patches like me Grin if we're just talking about him that's very easy to avoid getting on the bed.

Limensoda · 28/10/2018 19:19

I don't think I would feel like sex at all after laying a towel down and preparing stuff for cleaning up afterwards. It's just mood murdering!
We just have sex then either talk or fall asleep. I've never run off to the bathroom squeezing my legs together immediately either. Does stuff just run out of you like water?
Our juices must be sticky or something Grin

munchbunch12 · 28/10/2018 19:19

wtf is a penis beaker!!!

^^^^^ This, do tell us!

needsanewname · 28/10/2018 19:21

I have never, ever understood why people say they have a wet patch. It's never happened to me and I don't know where it comes from? 🙈

MrsStrowman · 28/10/2018 19:22

@QueenOfMyWorld

I've mastered the ninja roll off the bed afterwards smile
😂😂 Thought it was just me!

I do have wetwipes in the bedside drawer as well though as there's sometimes a bit of a patch, i do try to get it on DHs side where possible...

PussGirl · 28/10/2018 19:23

I go for a wee & then put a towel down to sleep on when I come back to bed, or most usually DP has already put a towel down.

We never seem to get round to putting a towel down before the mess Hmm Grin

Oblomov18 · 28/10/2018 19:23

Never had a wet patch before.
Roll over and go to sleep. Never needed to strip the bed.
