To strip the bed straight after sex?

What do you do? Was late last night, enjoying some fun in bed, but then the practical side of me took over. I was so conscious of the huge wet patch and then starting thinking about all the washing that needed doing without the thought of the bed sheets the fun had passed for me.
Usually we'd put a towel over the patch but it was sopping, so I stripped the sheet off. Is that really bad? Does it ruin the moment?
What do you do to avoid this situation?

No wet patch here - the key is tissue / wipes in a handy place and then a quick dash to the loo!

IAmGrootGrootGroot · 28/10/2018 20:01

@Silvercatowner I salute you!

chrisinthesun · 28/10/2018 20:02

VOM

TokyoSushi · 28/10/2018 20:02

Always spontaneous here but we're in the condom crew until DH finally gets round to having the snip!

Omzlas · 28/10/2018 20:04

Squirter here.

I always believed that female ejaculate was NOT per

Since then, I've squirted whilst wearing a menstrual cup...... any ideas?

In response to the OP, we use condoms but often there's a wet patch from me. DH is due to have the snip soon too so we'll be back to having a bigger WP. We already have a waterproof mattress cover and I usually strip the next day. Thank God for a super king size bed though!

bellsbuss · 28/10/2018 20:04

I just clench and try to get to the loo sharpish, what I do hate is next day even after showering that i get a gush come out of it. When OH and I first got together I told him when he happened the first time and he said just call me super spunk

RandomObject · 28/10/2018 20:05

Tissues by the bed, no wet patch in sight. Done.

PegLegAntoine · 28/10/2018 20:09

Meh, doesn’t bother us. I’m slipping into a lovely sex coma the second we finish anyway 😳 luckily I don’t suffer from UTIs by not going for a wee straight away, I know some people have to.

Rowenaravenclawsdiadem · 28/10/2018 20:24

I was told my doctor to always wee straight before and after sex as it reduces the risk of a wee infection, of which I used to get many. Even though dh has had the snip he usually pulls out and does it elsewhere and then I go and clean up afterwards.

I always need a wee post sex though.

XingMing · 28/10/2018 20:32

I turn over and sleep.

starrynitelight · 28/10/2018 20:35

I always need to pee after sex so take that opportunity to do some hulk style bearing down and get all the goo out. Then have a quick wash and go sort DH out with a hot towel. I often say "the royal penis is clean, your highness" and we have a chortle. We then spoon until I fart on him and the romance is broken.

WidowTwonky · 28/10/2018 20:38

we always do it on his side of the bed so I just scoot across to the dry side afterwards

Dandybelle · 28/10/2018 20:39

I keep a roll of loo roll next to the bed which I usually just wrap into a wadge and use as a make shift pad til I can be arsed to get up 🤷🏽‍♀️ thus no wet patch.

Easterbuns1 · 28/10/2018 20:40

With my ex it used to fall out as soon as I went to the loo afterwards and we have 2 children. Current DP it comes out at some point the next day!

The last thing I'm thinking about post shag is my laundry!

Didsomeonesaybunny · 28/10/2018 20:41

I have a trusty set of tissues and wipes for the occasion. I like to snuggle afterwards.

QueenOfMyWorld · 28/10/2018 20:43

@MrsStrowman 😁

checkingforballoons · 28/10/2018 20:45

Just following this so I get to see the inevitable post where someone states that they put down a sex tarpaulin, which they then sluice with Zoflora afterwards, and that anything else is disgusting.

JustPurple · 28/10/2018 20:47

'I think you can even get specific 'sex blankets' waterproof on one side and soft on the other for this purpose!'

Are you sure you aren't thinking of picnic blankets?!

itneverrainsitpours · 28/10/2018 20:48

We have a large bed so we do it in the middle and then roll over to our own sides 🤣

Bananacakes · 28/10/2018 20:48

Superkingsize bed. Use the middle, sleep either side... although to be fair usually some tissues help avoid wet patch all together.

Heaviestdirtyestsoul · 28/10/2018 20:48

So happy to learn i am not the only ninja rolling bathroom dasher 😁 dh calls it the squelch of shame 😂

sanityisamyth · 28/10/2018 20:48

@labazs ditto. Usually a huge wet patch of different bodily fluids (its definitely not wee though 😳) and BF loves it - the biggder the better. I usually make sure its on his side 🤣🤣🤣

Momo18 · 28/10/2018 20:53

We always have a wet patch, it's a combination of both for us and tbh it's never bothered any of us. I couldn't be doing with laying towels first! That been said I've been known to shower and clean my teeth mostly before planned sex, it's not always spontaneous here Grin

greeenkitee · 28/10/2018 21:03

I was told by the dr NOT to pee straight after Confused
And yes to pp, it's days later and his stuff is still coming out Blush always got pregnant first time aswell.
I also squirt but not all the time, I just put pjs back on and lie in it Grin but we have a mattress protector on

Some of you are making sound like an umbrella is needed. How much liquid is there, 10mls probably?
