To strip the bed straight after sex?

What do you do? Was late last night, enjoying some fun in bed, but then the practical side of me took over. I was so conscious of the huge wet patch and then starting thinking about all the washing that needed doing without the thought of the bed sheets the fun had passed for me.
Usually we'd put a towel over the patch but it was sopping, so I stripped the sheet off. Is that really bad? Does it ruin the moment?
What do you do to avoid this situation?

What the he'll are disposable bed mats? Are they a bit like those puppy training pads? Ha ha

DaysOfCurlySpencer · 28/10/2018 18:50

Tissues or kitchen roll by the bed, ready to shove in the appropriate place at the right time plus towel on the bed, over the sheet, then relax until you need to get up to pee/wash.

I hate to think what the mattress must look like if there is always a wet patch though.

pinkhorse · 28/10/2018 18:50

I just sleep in the wet patch. Doesn't bother me

NotUmbongoUnchained · 28/10/2018 18:50

I think I’d be really offended if my husband changed the sheets after sex!

Wagonwheelsandstrawberryjam · 28/10/2018 18:50

Well you lot are just making me jelous, it's been a long time since I've had to sleep in a wet patch Haloween Sad

SheBangsit · 28/10/2018 18:51

Haha, haven't heard of a disposable bed mat either. Clearly I'm shopping in the wrong supermarkets. Waitrose is it?

sabrinathethirtysomethingwitch · 28/10/2018 18:51

Sweet Jesus. I assumed everyone used a tissue or waddled to the toilet whilst squeezing pelvic floor muscles Grin

SheBangsit · 28/10/2018 18:53

Well in my case, the place gets a little damp from just me. You'd want to be fairly dry to just have his cum to hold in?

Angelil · 28/10/2018 18:53

lol we keep tissues by the bed for instant cleanup purposes...

labazs · 28/10/2018 18:54

As a squirter we have a lot of wet patches

ALemonyPea · 28/10/2018 18:54

Why don't you just go and wipe afterwards. I've been having sex 20+ years and don't think I've ever had a wet patch.

thecatsarecrazy · 28/10/2018 18:54

Since dh had the snip i just keep some loo roll handy and run to the bathroom

Aprilislonggone · 28/10/2018 18:56

Jeez putting a pull up on would be preferable!!
My exh used to run off to the shower.
Exh.....
Don't be so quick to remove traces of the lovely time you have just shared!!

cheesefield · 28/10/2018 18:56

Nah. I either leg it to the loo or sleep in the wet patch. I'm a lazy slag.

SheBangsit · 28/10/2018 18:57

What actually lubricates you if you don't produce anything yourselves? Genuinely curious, because it sounds painful to me?

OHolyNightOwl · 28/10/2018 18:57

I am in the "move over to his side of the bed quickly and lie there and bask" camp.

MorningsEleven · 28/10/2018 18:57

Nah, I don't think so.

icedqueen · 28/10/2018 18:58

Can't believe so many people exist that put a towel down beforehand.

Devillanelle · 28/10/2018 18:58

@labazs is squirting a real thing then? I always thought it was just when you shot a bit of wee out 🙈

SheBangsit · 28/10/2018 18:59

The sex towel. Now there's foreplay taken care of for him. He get's excited at the site of it coming out pmsl.

Groovee · 28/10/2018 19:00

On top and I have perfected getting off with no drips

IAmGrootGrootGroot · 28/10/2018 19:00

@Silvercatowner Don't tell me you actually continued having sex on CRUSTY 18 MONTH OLD BEDSHEETS?
18 MONTHS?! WHAT THE ACTUAL JESUS?!

crimsonlake · 28/10/2018 19:00

Shocked by the putting a towel down thing, sounds so clinical.

WaxOnFeckOff · 28/10/2018 19:00

Is it not supposed to be better for avoiding cystitis to go pee after sex - or is that just for men...? Confused

1moreRep · 28/10/2018 19:00

wtf is a penis beaker!!!
