I eat awfully lately , little variety , too much beige and an inability to stop at a couple of biscuits. I’m trying to get more variety again as I’m stuck in a rut so please inspire me with what you have eaten today or what you will eat for those that eat dinner/tea later in the evening.
Thanks Grin

@Eliza9917

That has to be the most unusual post on this thread!

Absolutely no fibre. No veg, no fruit, no carbs. Are you constipated. How the heck do you feel?

Report
Eliza9917 · 16/10/2018 13:59

@wonderandwander I feel really really well. I'm cutting out carbs completely for a bit and will slowly add in salad then veg. I have loads more energy when I cut them out. I feel better on no carbs as they make me feel sluggish, lazy, give me inflammation etc. They also mess with my blood glucose too. I'm taking vitamins.

@Eliza9917 Do you worry about high cholesterol? Gallstones/ heart problems with such a meat heavy diet?

Report
Eliza9917 · 16/10/2018 14:57

No. I'm not doing meat only for long. I'm starting to miss salad now though so maybe another week. 2 weeks in total isn't going to kill me. The risks from obesity or pre-diabetes turning in to full diabetes are worse tbh. When I followed Atkins (properly) before, my cholesterol was 3.6.

Another two weeks??

I’m afraid to say you are going to be contorted with constipation by the end of that period!

Fybogel is your friend eliza! I believe it’s low carb.

No, 1 more week. Maybe. I'm really missing avocado salad.

Someone here at work came in with 3 krispy kremes, the new halloween ones and really tested my resolve but I didn't give in.

Eliza if you must eat only meat please make it good quality not awful reconstituted / mechanically reclaimed sausages and shitty chicken.

I have just had a plate of Nazi Goreng with chicken. Cooked the dish by myself but the sauce is from Waitrose. So delicious.

Breakfast - eggs cooked in a spicy tomatoe sauce
Lunch - toast with mushroom pate. I bought it because it was on sale and I decided to try it but I don't think I am going to buy it again.
Now - Nazi Goreng with chicken. A small bounty chocolate after that (unnecessary junk food).
Diner - not decided yet.

Cup of tea and an apple at work
Rice cake at home
Will be quiche and salad for dinner later.

In that case @Eliza9917 your meat only diet is more likely to be 50% - 60% meat. Check the ingredients. Cheap meat crap makes for disturbing reading
