I eat awfully lately , little variety , too much beige and an inability to stop at a couple of biscuits. I’m trying to get more variety again as I’m stuck in a rut so please inspire me with what you have eaten today or what you will eat for those that eat dinner/tea later in the evening.

B: hoovered up dcs’ uneaten breakfasts, so about 2/3 of a weetabix and half a peanut butter sandwich

L: leftover roast chicken, rocket, spinach tortilla, tomatoes, dressing, a blob of ketchup

Snacks: lots of tea and coffee with sugar (teething baby so I “need” it)! Strawberries and probably a muller rice later (they need to be eaten before they go off)

D: homemade pizza

B- Special k with blueberries. Coffee

L- cheese salad sandwich, banana bread and some skips the dc didn’t eat

D- is going to be Spag Bol with jacket potatoes & salad

Snack- 3 chocolate digestives

Big bowl of melon and an apple

1/2 small avocado, 1/2 salmon fillet. Large salad. Blueberries and 1 apple

Dinner not sure.

Lots of decaf coffee!

Everything's gone to shit today. Tiredness = sugar cravings! No vegetable has passed my lips unless you count tomato soup.

B - porridge with mixed berries & raspberry yoghurt.
S - Ovaltine after my run.
L - 2 crumpets with melted cheese, cream of tomato soup, graze barbecue crunch punnet thing. Mint choc chip ice cream.
S - Reeses peanut butter cup.

Loads of tea & coffee.
Loads of water & squash.

Not sure what I fancy for dinner yet, I'm at work and I've brought a protein bar & some snacks, but I might go to the shops & get a salad or something. Because veg. Smile

Breakfast: black coffee, 3 scoops vanilla Huel
AM snack - oat and fruit cookie
Lunch - tea with milk and one sugar
PM snack - chocolate chip cookie
Supper - pinto beans, black bean burrito, cheese, pico de gallo

B: smoothies made with pineapple, banana, orange juice and flaxseeds;
L: broccoli soup
D: will be ratatouille with quinoa

Also had to 2 soya lattes and a vegan praline bar.

Dinner: massive portion of stroganoff & rice
Dessert: a trifle type thing and a half a chocolate bar

B - 2 boiled eggs, slice of ham, 4 cherry tomatoes
L - cauli rice ‘paella’ with chicken, chorizo and prawns.
Some blackberries
S - dark choc and nut bar
D - bolognese with butternut squash chips

L: Tomato soup and a soft roll, small apple and a petit filous
S: Cereal bar
D: Haddock fishcake with salad and a handful of chips

Lots of tea/peppermint tea

Just back from an all inclusive holiday and need to get out of the all inclusive mindset!

B: Cinammon and raisin bagel with cashew butter
L: lentil and tomato soup with bread and a soya yoghurt
D: vegan ‘mince’ and tatties. Might have some dark choc for pudding later.
Snacked on protein cookie and some weird pea snacks I got from a subscription box.

I had salmon & poached egg on toast for breakfast
Leftover spaghetti bolognese for lunch
And I slow cooked an Indian butter chicken all day so was ready after football and it was delicious

B - Pineapple, babybel and 2 mini kinder bars

L - lentil soup

D - chorizo and red pepper quiche with salad

Snacks - nakd bar and Liberte yogurt

Drinks - 2 litres water, 1 cup of turmeric tea and 1 gin and tonic

Made lamb with potatoes and carrots in the slow cooker today and then made some (freezer) Yorkshire puddings to go with it, super easy and tasty!

Am on a fodmap diet if that helps anyone:

B - rice crispies and lactose free milk. Kiwi
L - two mini gf ciabatta with bacon and brie and cranberry sauce. Lactose free muller corner yoghurt.
D - hot dog followed later by hm carrot soup
Snacks - gf choc biscuit bar and grapes

Breakfast - protein shake - raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, banana, spinach, milk, two ice cubes made of whipped dessert tofu.

Lunch - noodles from a package. They were spicy and apparently vegan.

Snack - granola bar

Dinner - tofu marinaded in soy sauce, lime juice and chilli powder then cooked on BBQ with salad (lettuce, cabbage, carrots, cucumber and celery) and a squirt of California dressing.

Oh and other drinks - flask of camomile and lavender tea, glass of milk, glass of water. Will probably have a hot cocoa with a tap of sugar later (1/2 water 1/2 milk) and more glasses of water as needed.

Yesterday:

  • B: Croissant
  • L: Pret chicken flatbread
  • D: Chicken thighs with roasted veg
  • S: 2 x goat's cheese canapes at a work conference)

Drinks: 4 cans of diet coke (dreadful! I was running the work conference - this is not my usual consumption level! Plus I needed something to keep me pepped during the networking and am doing dry October...), 2 glasses of water, 1 glass of blackcurrant squash

Today will be...

B - Croissant
L - Mozzarella salad
D - Prawn stir fry
S - Aiming for none

Drinks - trying to stick to water!

B: raspberries, strawberries & cream, 2 x cups of sugary tea
L: prawn sandwich
D: chicken, veg and haricot bean casserole-y thing, maybe with potatoes, rice or pita bread

Snacks: I haven’t actually had any yet, which is most unusual! I might make a smoothie / purée later, for the baby and me to share.

Steamed veg with tinned salmon for lunch
A slice of the most delicious caramel slice I’ve ever tasted for an afternoon snack with a cup of tea (thanks work colleague!)
Chicken and veg with pasta for dinner, washed down with a glass of rose

Beans on toast, poached egg.
Cheese and onion sandwich, grapes, banana
Going to have nut roast, roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots, peas and gravy for dinner tonight.
