Yes, Daily Fail link... But I am currently happy to give them clicks for various reasons.

Anyway, Tom Jones has a son whom he has never seen and apparently wants nothing to do with...

"Sir Tom denied he was Jon's father until it was proved by a court-ordered paternity test in 1989, and the singer agreed to pay £1,700 a month maintenance for his upkeep until his 18th birthday."

"Sir Tom only acknowledged Jon's existence in 2008, saying: 'It wasn't something I planned. I was tricked. I fell for the seduction.'"

What a piece of shit he is!

@PebbleTissueScissors "Don't worry about getting me pregnant, I've had a hysterectomy" Isn't that tricking someone?"

No, that is attempting to trick someone. The trick would fail completely if the man was ... as I said ... taking absolute responsibility for his own contraception.

Try turning what you have said around. If you were going to have a one-night stand with a stranger (an example, am not suggesting you would/wouldn't Grin ) and he said to you "don't worry about getting pregnant, I've had a vasectomy" would it be a safe or responsible thing for you to say "oh great, I won't need this then" as you tossed your last condom in the bin?

constance Apparently the real reason for Noel Gallagher falling out with his brother is over the way he treated his children. At various points Noel has steped in, paid and kept a relationship with them.

Tom Jones son has a major heroin issue. This is quite outing but he crapped on our stoop a couple of years ago. I see him around town begging and standing in line at the shelter. I really hope the DM hasn't paid him for this story. The guy needs professional help to overcome his addiction.

Or read the rest of the post instead of selectively quoting that bit daisy...

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 03/06/2018 13:37

So, a question, presumably this chap's mum told him of his parentage - as she'd be the only other person who would know?

What would have happened if Tom Jones had just been an ordinary, married (because he was) man who worked in the local supermarket?

I would have thought that the liaison would have been secret (given that he was married and that's such a no-no on here)... classy behaviour from both of them.

Not really click-worthy is it, just because he's famous? This happens every day, the tenuous links to a 'celeb' make it to the Daily Fail and other trash papers.

also google 'Tom Jones accused' Nasty dirty man!!

LifeBeginsAtGin · 03/06/2018 13:38

There are loads of women/girls hanging around any celebrity going and are willing to jump in the sack with any of them if there's a whiff of potential stardom and money.

When all they end up with is a taxi home the next morning they really only have themselves to blame.

SkinniesAreOver · 03/06/2018 13:45

@constance88, I know a real life situation where this is happening. I think older brother had a bond with his own new baby when he discovered his middle brother was about to be a dickhead and he and his wife and their parents stepped up and made it clear that they were not on the same page as the middle son in the family. I suppose the decades roll on and now it's like a pride thing for the middle son, he tried to control them and tell them what to do and now he is the interloper.

southeastdweller · 03/06/2018 13:48

Can't understand the vitriol here towards TJ. Like with Anthony Hopkins and his daughter, the story here is so vague so I don't see how anyone can judge. We don't know if he's tried to help his son or not, and it's his choice whether or not to.

Does anyone know he didn't use contraception, or the mother? No, thought not.

Aragog · 03/06/2018 13:49

LG recently met one a of the two daughters. Think she's now 21 and he last saw her when she was 2. Though he never denied their existence I don't think and did pay maintenance.

surferjet · 03/06/2018 13:51

Meh. I still love TJ.
😎💕

sue51 · 03/06/2018 14:00

Southeastdweller who did or did use contraception is beside the point. His son is suffering as a result of Tv's indifference. I think a child has right to expect recognition from his father .

polsha · 03/06/2018 14:03

Can't understand the vitriol here towards TJ.

You can't?

Did you even read the link?

shins · 03/06/2018 14:03

Sue Jameson's son has a really sad story, it must be painful. Does anyone else spot how glaringly obvious the identity of his actor father is, by the way?

Or read the rest of the post instead of selectively quoting that bit

It wasnt a dig at what you said Princess it was a general two-finger salute to feckless twatishness of men like Gallagher - it's as rare as rocking horse shit that they ever "do the decent thing"!

PebbleTissueScissors · 03/06/2018 14:05

Try turning what you have said around. If you were going to have a one-night stand with a stranger (an example, am not suggesting you would/wouldn't grin ) and he said to you "don't worry about getting pregnant, I've had a vasectomy" would it be a safe or responsible thing for you to say "oh great, I won't need this then" as you tossed your last condom in the bin?

Whether it's safe or responsible isn't the issue under discussion. The issue is whether a recipient of that kind of representation was tricked.

If you look at this in legal terms for fraud I think all you need to show is a representation that the person knew would be relied on and that was relied on.

It may not be safe or responsible to believe the person who tells you that they own Tower Bridge and can sell it to you for £100m - but if you rely on that as you and pay them £100m in return for jack shit, they are guily of fraud.

It's still a person being tricked like it or not.

specialsubject · 03/06/2018 14:07

gallagher is 4*4 , isnt he? not good.

and you do have to wonder why women have such low standards.

southeastdweller · 03/06/2018 14:07

Did you even read the link?

I did, yes.

polsha · 03/06/2018 14:07

What would have happened if Tom Jones had just been an ordinary, married (because he was) man who worked in the local supermarket?

One would presume he was a cunt still. But a cunt who wasn't in a position to make much of a difference financially even if he rejected the son emotionally.

Not really click-worthy is it, just because he's famous? This happens every day, the tenuous links to a 'celeb' make it to the Daily Fail and other trash papers.

Fucksake. He is his FATHER. It's hardly a Tenuous link. Seriously? The fact he
Is famous is very relevant here. Can you not understand? Homeless son, multi millionaire father Hmm

NewYearNewMe18 · 03/06/2018 14:09

I don't understand why women can legally negate their responsibility towards their offspring by having them adopted, yet men aren't allowed the same rights. They should be.

PrincessCuntsuelaVaginaHammock · 03/06/2018 14:10

True, daisy. That we are in a position where Gallagher's refusal to have anything to do with his child could look significantly better than anyone because he's actually paid and not tried to make out he doesn't understand how sperm meets egg isn't a good thing.

Does anyone know he didn't use contraception, or the mother? No, thought not.

Interesting that you only mention this in the context of a post complaining about those who are criticising TJ, with nothing about those speculating about him being tricked. If we should all be quiet because we know nothing, that would equally apply to those talking about trickery.

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 03/06/2018 14:10

polsha, it's sad, yes. How different is that scenario to the number of men who live women that they father children with in abject poverty every year?

Keep your humphy face to yourself and try to think outside the 'celeb' mantra for a bit.

Badbadtromance · 03/06/2018 14:15

Just googled tj s Africa..i had no idea

trumpdump · 03/06/2018 14:15

@southeastdweller

If you read the link then you would see that Tom Jones is directly quoted! He is being a bitter prick about the situation and only cares about himself!

His son needs serious help. Why isn't TJ helping him?
