How would that happen, Skarossinkplunger, if the men were taking absolute responsibility for their own contraception? Even to the extent of providing their own condom, and always putting it on themselves (especially if they do not know and trust their sexual partner well enough to be sure that contraception wouldn't be sabotaged though that begs the question why they are having sex with that person at all ).

I believe that in such circumstances, these men generally do not take absolute responsibility for their own contraception.
