To hate Jo Wiley

Not personally obviously, surprisingly enough I don't know her, but I love the Radio 2 Drivetime programme and she is going to ruin it. I find her voice grating, she has a babyish breathy style that is highly irritating. The Drivetime show was perfect and now they have got rid of homework, foody Thursday with Nigel and they are getting rid of MATT!!!! Are they crazy???

I'm all for gender equality but why can't Jo share a show with Steve Wright as his show is already awful.

I know I may be getting this out of proportion but it feels like this show is part of my life and it's just gone.

Her style reminds me of a teenager who is trying too hard to be cool and grown up. Also annoyingly coquettish and kiss ass with bands she interviews.

Yabu she's a woman at the top of her game and lasted longer than most at radio one. Plus she'd hardly fit with Wrighty. Give her l chance

NO!!! I will not give her a chance!!! I already know that I can't stand her. The only question is: will they limit the amount that she talks enough that I can still enjoy the other bits.

I've just had a mini breakdown in the kitchen about this too. Wonder if radio 2 will keep the Simon mayo programme the same if enough of us complain.
I think she'd be suited to a later slot when I'm not cooking dinner

I just read on the Drivetime facebook page that they are getting rid of confessions too??!! Surely that must be a ? WTF are they thinking?

Mayo and Wiley doing a show together in the 5 - 7 slot. Matt has gone and so have most (all?) of the features.

Arrrggghhh! Whaaaat??? What’s going on? I don’t listen that often but when I do (unsurprisingly when I’m driving ) I love the Simon Mayo drive time slot. They haven’t really got rid of Nigel and Matt, surely? Haven’t had to drive the DDs this week but I’m back on taxi duty next week, not looking forward to it now. I’m sure Jo W is lovely but I just don’t like her style of presenting. Wonder if the listener numbers will drop (or increase I suppose)?

I’m not sure the combination will,work. Also, Simon was fine on his own.

The slot that needs changing is Steve Wright. The only good bit on the show The Oldies. Definantly time for an overhaul there.

That's a shame, I knew she was going to be co-hosting with Simon Mayo but didn't know about the other changes.
I love Matt and Nigel and will miss learning odd facts in the Homework slot.
