Last Friday I went out with some work colleagues for drinks. Whilst out my colleague/friend bumped into her husband who was with his friends. I hit it off with one of the men he was with and we've been texting with an aim to meet up soon.
My colleague knew this and seemed very keen for us to meet. However yesterday colleague told me she'd seen this man I'm due to go out with as he's a mutual friend. She said quite casually ' I told mutual friend you've got 3 kids by 3 dad's and you've had a boob job'. I told her she's being bitchy and not to put ideas in this man's head. Why would you tell someone that?

Well your colleague 'friend' as made it crystal clear that she judges the fact you have 3 DC by different fathers and you have had a boob job. She's not a friend.

Here we go again. The taxpayer pays for most people to have children. Unless you're significantly into the higher rate tax bracket, anyone with kids takes out more than they put in - so why single out the OP...?

I have sons and no I wouldn’t have an issue with them dating someone with multiple kids by multiple partners the multiple partner thing wouldn’t even raise my eyebrows outside of How my child conducted themselves towards the woman and the children, I wouldn’t want my son to think he could treat someone badly or recklessly because of that.
The children thing would prompt a conversation about not involving himself in the kids lives unless he was very serious and after that point if the kids were loved and well cared for then it wouldn’t matter.

And I would date a man who had 3 kids by 3 different mums if those kids lived in his home the majority of the time and met exactly the same criteria by which I would view a woman, so loved and well cared for.
I would immediately discount one who didn’t fully support and care for his children.
But then I have more children by more dads than you so I guess I’m a raging Trollope as well unless it matters that a fair few of mine occurred under laboratory conditions
