I don't know how to cope with this. She is 27.
On the one hand I'm so happy she feels so comfortable in her sexually. Like go on lovey.
On the other I really don't want to actually hear it.
How would you deal with this?
Help me Mumsnet.

Cheer when she’s finished?

MikeUniformMike · 21/01/2018 22:14

Play loud music.

ArbitraryName · 21/01/2018 22:14

Just tell her to keep it down.

greathat · 21/01/2018 22:15

tell her its time to move out....

Sparkesdontshine · 21/01/2018 22:15

Tell her to get her own place?

SheilaTurnip · 21/01/2018 22:15
Hmm
peachypetite · 21/01/2018 22:15

Is this in your house?

FlashTheSloth · 21/01/2018 22:15

I'm confused as to why any sensible mother would actually post this tbh. Are you expecting others to share their stories?

Smarmydrippings · 21/01/2018 22:15

I did once shout out "For fucks sake can't you put a pillow over her face?"
It did no good.

just ignore and don't mention, she's having fun and if you say something could make her feel embarrassed. I know, trust me!

MyBrilliantDisguise · 21/01/2018 22:16

Send her a text saying "For god's sake keep it down. I can hear EVERYTHING."

norfolkenclue · 21/01/2018 22:16

Take them tea and toast when it's over 😂

Windyone · 21/01/2018 22:16

So you're having a quiet evening in your house and you can hear her having sex in her house? Wow! That IS noisy sex.

Tell her to move out......

Thesmallthings · 21/01/2018 22:16

Bang on the door..

Shout. "No need to show off"

Knock on the door and ask if she'd ok ..it sounds like she needs help?

Turn music all the way up to block out the noise and hope she gets the hint

PiffleandWiffle · 21/01/2018 22:17

I've just knocked on the door & asked them to keep it down.

The next step is to start having noisy sex yourself....

grumpygiraffe · 21/01/2018 22:17

Depends how close her house is to yours.

itsbetterthanabox · 21/01/2018 22:18

Speak to her and tell her it’s unacceptable.
People choose to make loud noise. It’s not involuntary. It’s bizarre she thinks you want to hear it.

PortiaCastis · 21/01/2018 22:18

Hide a cam in her room and bung her on porn hub

Smarmydrippings · 21/01/2018 22:18

No I don't want shared stories.
I'm honestly at a loss as to how to adress the issue.
She is saving to get her own place. We live in London and it's really hard to get a place of your own. She doesn't want to be living at Mums tbf.

Grin
NSEA · 21/01/2018 22:19

Have noisy sex yourself at the same time?

OverTheParapet · 21/01/2018 22:19

Stick a note under the door

"We know what you're doing...could you keep it down?"

I'd be so mortified Id never do it at my mums again!

Smarmydrippings · 21/01/2018 22:20

Lmao at pornhub

OP posts:
SimonBridges · 21/01/2018 22:20

Really?

Help her get the deposit for a flat.

Windyone · 21/01/2018 22:20

Can't she get a flat share like everyone else does?
