she was raped by her father
BUT
she wasn't definitely killed by being raped, she was probably killed by being suffocated when her father/rapist put her down to sleep next to him.

The inquest can say Poppi was PROBABLY raped, but they don't need evidence that would be strong enough to put a rapist in prison to do that.
