How can this man be getting away with this. What a beautiful baby and her life is now over because of that monster!.
I've been in tears this morning reading it. In fact I couldn't finish reading it. What is the system coming to???

I think lobbying is all ordinary people have left, a lot of the time.

NaughtToThreeSadOnions · 15/01/2018 20:08

It possiably is lined but surely it's better that we understand the failures we're lobbying to change.

Than saying how can this happen and not discussing where the law falls down

As this thread has shown on the face of it the corners verdict indicates there was a sexual assault. So why isn't he being charged?
Because there isn't enough evidence, why and what causes the doubt. We need to understand what we might lobby about

meandmytinfoilhat · 15/01/2018 20:11

Her disgusting excuse for a father is a dirty dirty bastard.

That poor baby girl.

PasstheStarmix · 15/01/2018 20:42

The justice system in his country is pathetic, it’s obvious that evil monster has committed a disgusting crime yet he’s getting away with it!?!

PasstheStarmix · 15/01/2018 20:42

this

sakura06 · 15/01/2018 20:55

This case is so unbelievably upsetting. Horrific. There are no words. I've deliberately always tried to avoid reading about it. The bastard should rot in Hell.

PavlovianLunge · 15/01/2018 20:56

I’m not religious, or vindictive (normally) but I hope all the torments of hell are waiting for him. And before that, a miserable, fearful existence for whatever is left of his worthless, wasted life.

But in the meantime, presumably he’s free to make new relationships with people... with children... and to have more children... It’s unbelievably fucked up.

Eliza9917 · 15/01/2018 21:18

I read earlier that the coroner said he must have done what he did then put her down to sleep in his bed rather than her cot. 5-10 mins later he noticed she was limp, then ran downstairs to the mother that was sleeping downstairs.

From what I've read of what they reckon went on, there's no way the 'mother' could have slept through the screams that poor baby must have made.

This is truly sickening and when I read today's news on it I wondered too what he's got on the establishment. He must be in with their paedo rings, otherwise why else would prosecution be deflected at every turn??

pisacake · 15/01/2018 21:18

"But in the meantime, presumably he’s free to make new relationships with people... with children... and to have more children... It’s unbelievably fucked up."

I think they could intervene if he had more children. Burden of proof is not the same there.

Eliza9917 · 15/01/2018 21:20

If he's in witness protection Pavlovian one of those Sarah's law checks wouldn't tell anyone in a new family anything about his past Sad

PavlovianLunge · 15/01/2018 21:23

That’s what I’d assumed Eliza, and I’ll bet he knows exactly how to sniff out his next vulnerable ‘partner’. I’m convinced that men like him have an instinct for it.

Cherrycokewinning · 15/01/2018 21:26

“TheCrossKeys

Classy, unless you have some sort of proof that her mother knew/suspected then you need to STFU. The woman lost her daughter in horrific circumstances, her husband is a rapist child abuser, and I doubt she's had five minutes peace from the attentions of the gutter press since it happened. Backseat parenting and Monday morning quarterbacking are neither helpful or kind. Many children are hurt by people around them and one of the facets of abuse is the secrecy that surrounds it, it would be very easy for the mother to have known nothing.”

You should read the serious case review and also not be so niave

pisacake · 15/01/2018 21:27

yeah like this scumbag piece of shit. www.kentlive.news/news/sex-offender-found-living-teenage-1011583

BashStreetKid · 15/01/2018 21:35

PasstheStarMix, it's not the justice system that's fucked up. In this instance, it was the police system.

PasstheStarmix · 15/01/2018 21:39

Exactly, I don’t have words to detail how disgusting it is. My heart breaks for that poor little girl and her siblings and family. What an evil dispicable piece of filth to do this...he doesn’t deserve to breath.

PasstheStarmix · 15/01/2018 21:42

I hope some heads are rolling within the police system; no excuse for such dramatic failings.

Aeroflotgirl · 15/01/2018 21:47

An eye for an eye, when it comes to this scum.

Aeroflotgirl · 15/01/2018 21:49

I can't believe his sister is supporting him😡😡😡

Alisvolatpropiis · 15/01/2018 21:49

This case makes me feel so sad and a true sense of revulsion. Poor, poor Poppi. She (and her twin) should never have been in either parents care. The mother had already had four children she was incapable of parenting removed from her care, she should never have been allowed to “try” parenting the twins.

Vulnerable as she may well be, the twins were more so.

Rinoachicken · 15/01/2018 22:03

Does anyone have a link to the serious case review please?

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 15/01/2018 22:10

Such a tragic story

Poor little girl let down by social services, after her death the police investigation and by the person who abused her her own father

It’s very very sad

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 15/01/2018 22:13

I agree Alisvolatpropiis

Her mum has had a terribly sad life but how could she been seen as being capable

Dilligaf81 · 15/01/2018 22:14

How are people blaming her mother? There was no history of other suspious behaviour twitch his daughter and people live with serial killers without knowing. His sister was on the news earlier saying how he had been treated badly for the last 5 years and he did the right thing no answering questions at the inquest.
Rest In peace Poppi you so deserved to be loved and cared for, I'm so sorry you were failed.

Alisvolatpropiis · 15/01/2018 22:15

Dil

Because she was deemed incapable of parenting four children prior to having Poppi and her twin. It is not she is “at fault” in the same way the father is but it is screamingly bloody obvious she was not capable of keeping those babies safe.

letsdolunch321 · 15/01/2018 22:16

Hang the bastard, he isn’t worthy of having a life
