Love chatting about presents. I'm nosy.Blush also can't sleep.

We set a low cap on our presents for each other as saving for a house but DP got me the loveliest, most thoughtful gifts. The main one being that he's adopted me some red pandas and we get to go and visit them whenever we like next year!
As you can see by username I bloody love red pandas. Also have ginger hair so he used to call me red panda when we first met.

Other favourite things were for my daughter - a gorgeous homemade gift from SIL and looovely fluffy joggers from baby Gap from DPs parents.

Presents aren't everything but they really are nice!

Really hope others had a lovely day and got something nice that made them smile.

LightDrizzle · 26/12/2017 00:39

A Fitbit HR 2 upgrade to a my much earlier non- HR one, I’m also really pleased with Andrew Marr’s book on painting and an Agnes B coat in a lovely teal colour. I like all my presents! You’ve got to have a book and something to faff with.

Joskar · 26/12/2017 00:40

Lapis lazuli necklace
Hendriks gin
Book of dust
Turkish delight (the good kind)
A really beautiful pot
A green scarf
Cheese
An amazing cardigan

I didn't get a bad present actually. All really lovely and thoughtful.

WhatsGoingOnEh · 26/12/2017 00:42

DH and I agreed not to buy anything for each other as we’re sooooo skint. But we still did. 🤣 I’m a real diary/journal addict and he had one personalised for me, with my name on the front and a really mushy messsge inside. I love it!

RedPandaMama · 26/12/2017 00:45

Oh these are all lovely.

MaryPoppinsPenguins and WhatsGoingOnEh they're exactly the kind of things I like.

A locket from my DH with the words 'Love Hope and Faith' inscribed on it, and inside one picture of us on our wedding day and one of our daughter the day she was born. I cried because it was so thoughtful! My mum made puking gestures which made me sad

A calendar featuring 12 action photos of my brother-in-law's dog. He is the most gorgeous creature in all the world, a huge lovable slobbery cheerful beast. The pictures are hilarious. I am going to carry the calendar around with me and show it to strangers on the bus.

ComtesseDeSpair · 26/12/2017 00:51

Beautiful chinaware from one best friend
Hand crocheted hat made by and from other best friend
Pure Evil limited edition print I've admired for ages from my parents - my little, grey-haired, cagoule-wearing pensioner parents went into the gallery and selected it themselves 😍
Damien Hirst espresso set I've also long lusted after from my brother

Can't choose. Am very very touched that people listen to me and care for me and give me lovely things they know I'll love and are excited to give them.

Frizzcat · 26/12/2017 00:51

Estée Lauder mascara
Nice bravissimo underwear (this means the girls will look good for a while)
Costume jewellery from M&S - namely a fake wedding and engagement ring. My real rings were lost, felt so bad about it, decided to not replace them and just use costume jewellery. I like this set that dh and ds picked for me.
The chocs and elf slippers my dd got me.

Seren85 · 26/12/2017 00:52

DH has adopted me a donkey at our local sanctuary that we can visit. I love donkeys. Also a ticket to a concert I really wanted to go to and some lovely reed diffusers. Lota of lovely things from my in-laws but favourites are a gorgeous jumper and a dvd boxset. Very spoiled this year and we still have my side of the family to go tomorrow. DH is made up with his suprise present (record player).

An Echo Dot.

BrownLiverSpot · 26/12/2017 00:54

moisturisers. several kinds, they're pretty to look at, useful and means I won't have to buy any for the next year at least.

Also gift card for a clothing store which is again useful and will save me money.

pollyx · 26/12/2017 00:59

I knew pretty much everything I was getting, yet my dm surprised me with a very nice Burberry hoodie, which I know will get worn so much. I also got some new pillows which I’m testing out right now, and I have to say they are extremely comfortable.

A brand new computer from my DH,my other one had been playing up for a while and since I became so ill my DH knows that my computer was a big lifeline to the outside world for me and I had no idea that he'd bought me a new one,I still don't know how he managed to hide it or how our 10 year DD(she is also disabled)managed to keep it secret from me bless her.

My other gifts that will always be my most cherished my big brother had sorted out for me yesterday and gave them to my DH to give them to me(I think he knew I'd cry and that if I cried it would make him start crying)were lovely Christmas figures that my Mum and Dad had collected for years,we lost my Mum 3 years ago and then we lost my Dad just a few months ago and my Brother knows that just like our Mum I've always been a Christian so Christmas is a big deal to me just like it was to our Mum and I will never forget how loving and supportive my big brother has been since we lost our parents,it's like he's stepped in as a surrogate Mum and Dad for me and a surrogate Grandad for our DC.

I haven't had a great life in the past so those two acts from two of the most important men in my life has and will always be the best Christmas presents I'll ever receive.

Rossigigi · 26/12/2017 01:18

2 x Karen Millen tops
Jo Malon bath set
Pj's
Slippers
Prosecco x 6 (don't know what people are trying to tell me!)
4 x bath sets/smellies
Chocolates
Make up
Mug with sloths on (I love sloths!)
Money

Only thing I've missed this year is no book......

ClothEaredBint · 26/12/2017 01:19

a little leather bound journal which has parchment-like pages in, they feel like fabric almost, or that blotting paper we used to get at school. The cover is thin leatherette with dragons embossed on it.

It was from my mom, and the only one of her gifts that was a surprise, but I love it SO much.

hunibuni · 26/12/2017 01:25

Dh got me earrings made from recycled silver spoons in the shape of the sun moon and stars (because he always said he would give them to me...romantic eejit) and a date night for me and my bestie at the ballet (he's guaranteed to fall asleep and snore!) Which will obviously mean a cocktail night as well Grin
