To ask how old you were when you add your last child?

I’m 39 next month. Would love another child but need IVF. Send me your stories to give me hope that I’m not too old and it will work!

A couple of months short of 40. Also my first child.

40, three weeks before I was 41.

I was 29 so I don’t think I’m your target audience. I’m 40 now though, and my friends are still having babies.

Friend of mine had number 3 at 45!

I had my second and last at 29. I know plenty of women who’ve had a baby in their early to mid forties though!

Oh, and I should add that at just shy of 40, I was the third youngest in my NCT group.

Just had my 3rd one 4 days ago. I'm 39.

I've just had my first at 37. I'm worried it will be difficult to have a second one at around the age of 39/40.

I’ll be scraping in my last 1 at 27 (due 2 weeks before my birthday!)

40 (well 39 but I was 40 less than two weeks later). We'd been trying for five years - I'd had our first at 30 - and we were literally about to start ivf. I had the prescription and everything. I found out I was pregnant naturally. I thought this only happened to people on tv but apparently it's very common. Good luck!

It wasn't meant to helpful neither unhelpful. It was merely the age I had my child and the fact that I wouldn't want to have had one any older. What is the issue with that?

I had my last (definitely this time) 6 months ago at 33 but most of my friends of around the same age are just starting to or thinking about starting to have kids.

I'll be 24 (Will be our second, and last). I know some who were closer to 40 when they had their last.
