AIBU to judge a man who has had sex with 2,000 people? I normally do not judge the number of people someone has sex with, but this is way over the top.

Like I said Noel, it seems a very high amount, and most people would not exceed even a 10th of that amount.

Unless some sort of professional I find it hard to believe that anyone has actually slept with that many different sexual partners, irrespective of their sexual orientation.

However that’s perhaps because it is so far removed from my own experience. I can count on two hands how many I have deemed sexually attractive enough to have
sex with. I’m not judgmental over casual sex generally, but 2,000 is an astonishingly high number.

Hpv is undetectable in sti tests.
You can test for ANY virus by PCR, it's just the NHS chooses not to offer that service.

But since AFAIK the NHS doesn't test routinely for some STI's (warts, herpes??) unless you're symptomatic many people don't get tested for them at all and condoms aren't 100% reliable then I think it does raise ethical questions re harm to future partners.

Also, I think HIV tests have to be repeated 3 months after exposure to get a reliable result and I'd bet the person could be sleeping with a lot of people in those 3 months.

Well after reading this thread I definitely won't be revealing my number but then I have been in the sex industry for a while but trust me it's more than achievable!

I can't imagine why working in the sex industry would make you think it odd that a lot of people struggle to imagine having sex with 2000 or more people any more than being a Police officer would make it odd to struggle to think that not everyone is a criminal.

i think that would be easy if the person was some sort of hollywood name or music name, he/she could have a new one each day or several a day say if they were on a tour with a band ( and a few bj's to add to the number) or a movie star could easily have a new fling daily on the set or locaton, im sure there are fans waiting around all day and night just waiting to be noticed,
and for just normal joe/jane blogs id say not unless its escorts ( im not sure anyone who is just normal unfamous could have that kind of pull)

I think everyone has a past and you should never judge anyone for that past unless it's under certain circumstances. This mans been completely honest with you (If he has slept with that many!) and you should appreciate that tbh. If that's been well he's been single and enjoying life then so be it. Life is too short to judge a person for enjoying it. As long as he's a faithful, loving man that's all that matter. Look at the present and focus on that lovely xx

I doubt he has really slept with that many people. If he has then I don't judge him, as long as it's consensual and no one is getting hurt.
