Yes he's a violent idiot but bloody hell, 40years just seems a bit harsh for someone who.is probably more mad than bad.......when you consider a man who raped and murdered two children is being released and will serve less time than a man who's never really been given a chance it all sounds a bit ridiculous.

Well he would certainly have the 'star' billing on I'am a celebrity or in the Big Brother House !

Think of the publicity for the television companies.

Roussette · 17/11/2017 08:20

Baked beans... *Done nothing for society? He has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity!

So did Jimmy Savile*

Yes yes yes. Forget the raising money for charity Imjustme you are 'friends' with a violent unhinged man who has caused a lot of trauma to a lot of people and you need to get your head round that

mountford100 · 17/11/2017 08:24

Better why not invite him on to Jezza's show in the morning.
The best bit being that Jezza's minders , would end up running away leaving Jezza 'Shitting himself' ! Hilarious...

TheFirstMrsDV · 17/11/2017 08:29

Does he want to be released? Confused
He seems to do all he can to keep himself banged up.
He is famous whilst he is inside.
He would be just another wannabe gangsta boring old fucker if he was out.

Ginorchoc · 17/11/2017 08:29

I’ve read his autobiography and you don’t need to be a psychologist to realise how dangerous he is, he is in part amusing but also very manipulating, self assured and unhinged.

He has been released since his first conviction but didn’t last long before reoffending.

He has lots of woman who write to him bizarrely.

EvilRinguBitch · 17/11/2017 08:31

I think the “he was provoked” defenders are missing the point made eloquently by a P.P. - what would happen if you let him out when someone parked in his space or some idiot got mouthy down the pub?. It’s a big country, There are a lot of idiots and inconsiderate people. We’re not allowed to strangle them (otherwise AIBU would take on a rather different tone).

mountford100 · 17/11/2017 08:31

Graham comes on to the stage....

"Charles you need to confront you problems" ! 'Will you get in the car and promise not to strangle the driver, before you get to the rehab centre "...

Roussette · 17/11/2017 08:34

Course he's manipulative, he has all the time in the world to hone that 'skill'. How anyone can talk about all the good he does Hmm whilst ignoring what he has done is beyond me! I like it that the most exciting part of his wedding day this week was the fact he could wear trousers with a zip, let's keep it that way

EvieBlack · 17/11/2017 08:34

I thought he was married to Dita Von Teese. Didn’t realise he’d married Paula Wilcox. She must be knocking on a bit now 😮

Roussette · 17/11/2017 08:37

evie hope you're having a laugh there, wrong on every count!

EvieBlack · 17/11/2017 08:42

😜

He would be just another wannabe gangsta boring old fucker if he was out. Precisely.

Done nothing for society? He has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity

Oh, FFS. That hardly negates the amount it has cost to keep him in there all these years.

He's an absolute waste of space, and I do not understand the women who are drawn to such lunatics. Why?

Yes, herotherhalf you're right. Sorry. I don't believe in the death penalty but wish there was something else we could do with unredeemable offenders apart from keep them in prison at our expense for their whole lives.

TheEricaOlthwaiteGang · 17/11/2017 09:14

ROFL at EvieBlack - lovely Paula Wilcox

imjustme The Kray Twins loved there old mum and bought her flowers every week. They were still murderers and a menace to society.

BarbaraofSevillle · 17/11/2017 09:26

Ha ha. This thread has made me wonder if Paula Wilcox is still alive, given all the celebs from my childhood that have passed away over the last few years, and yes, she is still alive and is 67.

.

Ginorchoc · 17/11/2017 09:26

Apparently the bride was also pen pals with Ian brady ..

GriefLeavesItsMark · 17/11/2017 09:37

I've just googled his 'art'. I think I'd keep him in prison for that alone.

Some interesting research on why women fall for prisoners (not sure if peer reviewed etc) The main strand is you can be married to a 'name' and earn respect, fame, whatever but not have to live with the irritating fucker.

derxa · 17/11/2017 09:47

Elaine Figgis

SchadenfreudePersonified · 17/11/2017 09:54

she is still alive and is 67

Just a slip of a girl

Greypaw · 17/11/2017 09:57

Let's not romanticise over Tom Hardy on Netflix, eh?

Holy hell that sounds like a Black Mirror episode! Grin

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 17/11/2017 10:44

'Done nothing for society? He has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity! Good old wiki though eh? 🙄'

So did Jimmy Savile.

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 17/11/2017 10:46

Charles Manson is married to Paula Wilcox? The actress from the '70s sitcoms?

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 17/11/2017 10:50

Saville raised millions

And wrecked many many peoples lives

The impact of the attacks on others can’t be overlooked

If he was deemed as not being a danger to the public, was able to adjust to outside life he would be in the process of rehabilitation they but some people simply aren’t no matter how much support they have around them

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 17/11/2017 10:51

Hitler liked dogs, Stalin was good with children - ergo, they must have both been lovely blokes.
