To suddenly find DH really annoying and smelly

Don't know what's happened. I love him. We've had a great relationship for the last 10 years. But for the last week I can barely look at him. He chews loudly, farts, is sweaty, is very very boring, always moans and looks so miserable.

What the hell is going on???? Why am i suddenly seeing all this stuff and not the gorgeous man I love? I just want to get back to how I used to feel about him up til last week! He hasn't changed - pretty sure his chewing style etc.. have always been the same, but suddenly it's jut all really annoying me and turning me off :(

Has this happened to anyone else? Will I click back to my normal self soon?

Help! (I am genuinely actually a bit stressed about this. We have dc's and I do love him)

Yeah not gonna lie this is a placemark! Pregnancy or menopause gets my vote

Therealslimshady1 · 29/10/2017 08:05

It was PMs, OP is all over it now and has forgotten this thread Grin

BalloonSlayer · 29/10/2017 08:15

Oh I very nearly started a thread yesterday asking why my sense of smell has gone mad and I can't stand the smell of this and that and keep feeling sick, yet I am NOT pregnant as I am 53 (though no real signs of menopause) and anyway DH has had the snip. Good to know it is a perimenopause symptom, I was wondering about brain tumours! [hypochondriac emoticon]

Doubt it's pregnancy , most people would find it hard to maintain attraction to someone who doesn't wash regularly ( if he's sweaty , he probably isn't washing and deodorising well) , chews loudly , farts audibly , and complains constantly .

I was like this with pmt - he couldn't do ANYTHING right (I never admitted it was pmt - the fact he used to say that's what it was ysed to get ne ina right old rage !!)

Cookie37 · 29/10/2017 10:20

Bugger it, pressed post too soon - loads of typos ! .. anyway, am now done with menopause and all's very much more on an even keel - he's ok most of the time now Wink

What suspense? The OP didn’t even think she was pregnant!

Freshme · 30/10/2017 16:29

Why start the thread and not bother to come back? 🙄

InsomniacAnonymous · 30/10/2017 16:41

She's started another thread to say she's not pregnant.

Halloweenpumpkincametotea · 30/10/2017 16:47

Thanks for the link reallyorange! Sorry sorry all for being really slow to reply. Been hectic here. Yes, not pregnant! :( ! Mix of relief and sadness. Thank you all for your posts and for making me laugh through my difficult DH times of late!!! Halloween Smile
