To suddenly find DH really annoying and smelly

Don't know what's happened. I love him. We've had a great relationship for the last 10 years. But for the last week I can barely look at him. He chews loudly, farts, is sweaty, is very very boring, always moans and looks so miserable.

What the hell is going on???? Why am i suddenly seeing all this stuff and not the gorgeous man I love? I just want to get back to how I used to feel about him up til last week! He hasn't changed - pretty sure his chewing style etc.. have always been the same, but suddenly it's jut all really annoying me and turning me off :(

Has this happened to anyone else? Will I click back to my normal self soon?

Help! (I am genuinely actually a bit stressed about this. We have dc's and I do love him)

5. VERY derisory about crap TV, even though I see it as a project, to keep up with my dds. (gulp and stare at the floor to see if lie has been recognised) "Its just not who we are darling"....(not at all snobby though)

I think that's pretty snobby.

BigFatGoalie · 27/10/2017 12:55

And???
I’m totally over invested in this thread now!

Rebeccaslicker · 27/10/2017 12:56

I think it's quite normal isn't it?! My DH can go from being the loveliest person in the world to simply the most annoying twat ever. Without much changing from him Confused

It's like they sing in "avenue q"... "the more you love someone, the more you want to kill them"....

ChuckysLoveChild · 27/10/2017 13:05

Yep another one for pregnancy or peri menopause. Couldn’t stand the smell of my now exDh with all three and couldn’t bear him near me.

tinymeteor · 27/10/2017 13:08

PMS gets me this way. Once a month DH is the most annoying man I've ever met, wrong about everything and should speak only when spoken to. Then I wake up the next day and it's all normal again. Hormones are, quite literally, a bitch!

I use the Clue app to track my cycle, so I know when the mad cow days are upon me.

So glad I found this thread! I'm 13 weeks pregnant and could cheerfully have murdered my OH over the last couple of months. He smells funny, eats funny, eats stinky food, has stinky breath, tries to be affectionate with me, tries to hug or stroke me etc. The other night I was asleep and he woke me up trying to spoon so I shouted 'GET. OFF. ME!'. Thank goodness it's just my hormones and not that I need any exit strategy!!! x

I’ve been with DH for 15 years (married 14 years), and sometimes he really irritates me! Especially the farting, yuck. I never managed to get pregnant (we adopted our 2 DDs), but interesting to think it might be peri-menopausal, that’s a possibility as I definitely am. But I also think that when you live with someone they’re bound to irritate you sometimes. Grin

Oh ffs. Now we’ll never know, will we?
I came here to say that maybe you’re pregnant. Just like all the other great minds on here.

EverythingRightNow · 28/10/2017 03:56

Have you not done a test yet? We're all waiting Grin

MajesticWhine · 28/10/2017 04:20

I feel quite similar about DH. He makes disgusting noises eating and drinking, is very boring and whiny and always stands in the way. I think it’s hormonal / perimenopause as I have other symptoms. Although perhaps he is also getting more boring / annoying with age.

EverythingRightNow · 28/10/2017 04:29

As you spend more time with a person you notice things, you might not have noticed before. Sometimes those things are irritating.

I'd say to him, did you put deodorant on this morning? Or you've got the perfect idea for a Christmas present, aftershave. With the eating I might say is there any reason you do it like that, only just noticed, it's all I can focus on now when eating with you.

I have an ex that used to make orgasm noises when eating anything, ohh, mmm, ahh, yeah. He didn't last very long. Grin I'd understand if it was something exquisite but were talking pasta and sauce.

picklemepopcorn · 28/10/2017 06:06

cherrycola2004 · 28/10/2017 06:52
