To suddenly find DH really annoying and smelly

Don't know what's happened. I love him. We've had a great relationship for the last 10 years. But for the last week I can barely look at him. He chews loudly, farts, is sweaty, is very very boring, always moans and looks so miserable.

What the hell is going on???? Why am i suddenly seeing all this stuff and not the gorgeous man I love? I just want to get back to how I used to feel about him up til last week! He hasn't changed - pretty sure his chewing style etc.. have always been the same, but suddenly it's jut all really annoying me and turning me off :(

Has this happened to anyone else? Will I click back to my normal self soon?

Help! (I am genuinely actually a bit stressed about this. We have dc's and I do love him)

I sometimes (mainly in the post ovulation hormonal plummet) am vile to my DH. It’s as if I have this voice in my head that I try to ignore but it makes me pick a fight with him. All the things that annoy the hell out of me, surface and come out. Causes a row, my anxiety and insomnia and night sweat kicks in. Pretty sure it’s perimenopause...

If it helps, I’m 100% not pregnant but certainly find my DH pretty offputting sometimes

But I suspected the pregnancy thing for you too ..

I too am hormonal, and actually am taking steps to avoid being in the same room as my DH. The way he sipped his coffee gave me the rage this morning. He hasn't done anything wrong that I know of, I can drag up some bollocks if I feel the need to though. Just to justify myself. Which is terrible and makes me an awful person.

@Dunzo I hated DP til the minute the baby come out. Then I was OBSESSED with him for weeks. The sun shone out of his arsehole for ages after the birth!

I vote for pregnancy in the peri menopausal period. It does happen.

Menopause? Thank you! I was so disappointed in my guilty self. I didn't know that menopause removed and smashed my rose colored love glasses!

I was reading this thread last night, and my husband put his foot out and affectionately touched my leg. I felt the rage. Looked at my phone and realised I’m 3 days away from period. I feel better knowing I’m not the only one who gets like this
