Seriously, wtaf is this photo about? She's dressed up like a hawaiian barbie doll, and is holding those poor twins with such an air of detachment, it's actually freaky. I actually think she's gone mad. Sir Carter and Rumi ........... those kids are gonna love those names when they're in school Hmm

Hang on so the boy is called Sir Carter, and the girl is called Rumi Carter. But the eldest child is Blue Ivy Carter? Weird, wheres her second name? Disturbingly sexist if true. Imagine a family of siblings, 2 girls and one boy and everyone has to refer to the prodigal son as Sir, even when he's being a little shit and bugging his sisters. He not going to grow up to be an egostostical monster, is he, oh no?

Does anyone watch Empire? I always imagine them being like that.

uppityupupup · 14/07/2017 15:09

Sir Carter is a boy and Rumi, a girl - as confirmed by Grandma Knowles

uppityupupup · 14/07/2017 15:11

She also seems to confirm that the first names are Sir and Rumi with Carter being the surname.

Congratulations to the family etc.

GavelRavel · 14/07/2017 15:11

Hang on, Rumi is a boy too? Poor Rumi, can you imagine when they're fighting and one gets to say "call me Sir"

GavelRavel · 14/07/2017 15:15

In fairness, those babies seem to be getting plenty of sunshine at that photoshoot which is what is recommended post jaundice

SunnyTunny · 14/07/2017 15:16

I think the thing that bothers me most about the picture (agree that the styling is a continuation of a theme) is just the absence of Blue Ivy! It would have been nice to include her.

Rainontheflowers · 14/07/2017 15:22

I think Rumi is a lovely name. It is a bit of an odd photo, but very 'Beyonce' so I'm not surprised.

When it comes to her stomach, it may well be photoshopped - but my tummy went back to being flat very soon after having my DD so it does happen.

ShatnersBassoon · 14/07/2017 15:22

MYOB

Grin

I bet Beyoncé is definitely thinking "Mind your own business! Stop looking at me and my babies! This is my personal private moment with them and my deflated purple parachute Sad"

Hmm
The80sweregreat · 14/07/2017 15:25

Confused now, is it boy and girl, or two boys?

BoysofMelody · 14/07/2017 15:27

Well they're rich enough to afford the therapy if they do get picked on because of their daft names.

It is hardly like Bonce Knowles will be schlepping around Asda like the rest of it yelling down the aisle:

'oi, Blue! Sir! get your fingers out of the pick and mix and get your arses over here, pronto!'

The80sweregreat · 14/07/2017 15:32

Boys, ha ha.. Can you imagine them all in Asda? With sunnies on.

She will probably sing to them or something. Play mums greatest hits or her videos on a loop. Or a bit of Dads rapping at Glastonbury. They will be fine im sure.

MommaGee · 14/07/2017 15:35

I suppose Sir is no worse that KP and Princess

JaneJeffer · 14/07/2017 16:19

Mrsmartell it's good he has another job he can fall back on Grin

quencher · 14/07/2017 16:24

is just the absence of Blue Ivy! It would have been nice to include her. I think blue has had her shine. Let the twins have two minutes with mummy. Next week (or today evening) there will be pictures of her siting at her mother's feet playing with roses while mother holds the siblings. Grin

Pawpainting · 14/07/2017 17:07

Is the boys name actually sir carter carter though?! The way they put 'sir carter' but not 'rumi carter' makes it seem that way. Why not just say sir and rumi carter?

Also, that name seems a bit sexist to me, like the boy is more prized or already considered to be a higher status than his sisters.

The80sweregreat · 14/07/2017 17:14

I always laughed when i read Brangalina ( when they were happy and together) shopped in Halfords once for their kids bikes!
I couldnt imagine the Carters going there for their bike helmets.

Rinoachicken · 14/07/2017 18:07

I did giggle at a FB post about the sons name though, imagining the parents in a few years running around a toddler sounding like frustrated butlers "sir come here, sir please don't do that, sir calm down and drink your milk"

kkkkaty123 · 14/07/2017 18:42

Yep I looked straight at the belly........ that's all I'm saying.

SherbrookeFosterer · 15/07/2017 18:09

It's art, my dear art

You should see what Goya did when he included children in his work!

TinselTwins · 15/07/2017 18:15

Meh!

It's a hidious photo but I've seen equally hideous photos in friends/family's houses of newborns tied up in weird hessian type swaddling etc… so this isn't that much different

AnnabelC · 15/07/2017 18:15

she is not a good role model unfortunately. She is a money making machine not just for her and her family but for all those around her. She needs threads like this to keep her career going, so it's a pic you either love or hate but mainly it's a talking point. Sorry to be cynical.

UnicornShitGlitters · 15/07/2017 18:19

Isn't their surname Carter so it's Sir Carter Carter? Weird.

Lovingit81 · 15/07/2017 18:33

She's an arsehole, fully stop.

HollywoodStunt · 15/07/2017 18:34

Beyonce has had trainers made out of anaconda skins and I dunno why any animal should die for the sake of her vanity so for that reason I can't look at these pictures objectively

However she's certainly not (imo) a good role model for black women or girls given the dangerous skin lightening craze

Copper1122 · 15/07/2017 18:44

Her hands appear not to be holding the babies, how are they not falling? It all looks very precarious and uncomfortable.
