With only 39%ish of the vote how can Sturgeon claim to have a mandate for indyref2 now.

Please no more elections!

Or Brexit

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 10/06/2017 11:37

How do you think Brexit was going to be avoided short of the Lib Dems taking 326 seats?

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 10/06/2017 11:38

Actually if you wanted to avoid Brexit why didn't you vote Lib Dem ? I did.

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 10/06/2017 11:58

I voted Labour.

Well indyref2 was meant to be once terms of Brexit were decided.

I am not really pro independence or SNP but that choice would have been good once we knew what we were facing.

DreichAgain · 10/06/2017 12:12

There will be another election. Quite likely sooner rather than later.

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 10/06/2017 12:13

Hope so

DreichAgain · 10/06/2017 12:14

I could not vote Labour in all conscience with Jeremy Corbyn and McDonnell in charge.

We all think we vote for the best.

ssd · 10/06/2017 12:44

yes I do lass and I also know how much they are liked too.

LagunaBubbles · 10/06/2017 20:17

Lass speak for yourself, which you only can do obviously....the SNP may be disliked amongst the people you know but where I come from in the West of Scotland they are very popular.

I am not really pro independence or SNP but that choice would have been good once we knew what we were facing.

..and giving people the choice was exactly the point. Scotland had the choice to say no again.

Lets not forget that 35% of the votes went to SNP still. The vast majority still were happy to have an independence referendum and given the choice. I do not think its dead and buried.
I am not happy with the way the Teresa May is seaking a coalititon with the DUP. Who voted for that?

neveradullmoment99 · 10/06/2017 20:27

..and yes laguna, the west of scotland is full of SNP voters Wink
