I'm getting sick of Tory HQ starting threads here to discredit Labour

come on guys, we can all see through it

fight the election without resorting to this

OP posts:
bigmack · 01/06/2017 16:22

I agree - it's tiresome.

YouTheCat · 01/06/2017 16:24

It is so obvious.

PhuqIt · 01/06/2017 16:25

I see more Tory haters on here than anything else - perhaps it's labour HQ trying to discredit them?

MyDarlingWhatIfYouFly · 01/06/2017 16:26

YANBU - tedious.

Nousernameforme · 01/06/2017 16:26

It is becoming obvious on other threads as well. New poster scaremongers gets questioned is never heard from again a few posts later another new poster asks same question. Its very sneaky

AuntieStella · 01/06/2017 16:26

The only party that's actually ever been caught doing that IIRC (and not on MN) was Labour.

It has since become an insult of choice (on the grounds of the biter bit) bumpy those who just cannot see that not everyone agrees with them, and that those people can post whatever the hell they like.

CaoNiMartacus · 01/06/2017 16:26

It's pathetic, isn't it?

HelenaDove · 01/06/2017 16:27

There were some VERY disabilist posts on a thread last night. Posters like this stick out like a sore thumb.

SexTrainGlue · 01/06/2017 16:29

Do you mean the notorious dog whistle, where the same post appeared on different sites at the same time? Yes, I'm surprised Labour didn't get way more flak for that one.

AFAIK Tories don't go in for it - they prefer to campaign in RL (possibly one reason why the 2015 opinion polls got it so wrong). Amount of noise online doesn't seem to translate into actual votes. And the creation/maintenance of echo chambers helps nothing.

MacarenaFerreiro · 01/06/2017 16:30

Really? REALLY?

Every other thread is about how wonderful Labour is, how Theresa May is the devil incarnate and how everyone wants to bed Corbyn.

MN on a whole is VERY left wing.

Hereward1332 · 01/06/2017 16:30

Not counting this one, I make it 4:3 to Labour activists on the first page of MN, by thread titles.

Both parties are guilty, and I imagine despite what you may believe it's not a conspiracy from the corridors of power but rather clumsy activism by grass roots.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 01/06/2017 16:32

Here we go again.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 01/06/2017 16:33

Any thoughts on the numerous Labour threads OP?

DinnerIsServed · 01/06/2017 16:34

OlennasWimple · 01/06/2017 16:36

Is this really happening? Confused

Presumably all these shill posts are being reported to MNHQ so that they can investigate and ban them?

CleopatraTheCatLover · 01/06/2017 16:36

Yanbu, torybots..

Effic · 01/06/2017 16:36

Really don't bother with anything like facts. MN is indeed an echo chamber - no discussion or debate allowed just endless monologuing on how virtuous, righteous and down right saint-like all Labour supporters are and anyone who even remotely questions this is evil.

TheWitchAndTrevor · 01/06/2017 16:36

I've stayed clear of political threads since the last general election, becuase of this.

Last time I saw a couple of regular Tory posters and 1 Labour poster, I don't mean a regular mn poster but paid posters who only turn up to poats reams and reams of links to skewed facts and figures. It was obvious then and reported many time but nothing was done.

shinyredbus · 01/06/2017 16:39

?! honestly i only see tons of Labour posts and its seems most of these are tory-haters?

londonrach · 01/06/2017 16:39

Id say its the other way with alot of posts from labour hq. If thats the case you see alot of tory ones so about right then.

Believeitornot · 01/06/2017 16:39

MN on a whole is VERY left wing

I think you interpret whatever fits with your thinking.

I see a lot of threads with a lot of right wing bias.

To call "MN" left wing implies that it is a homogenous being. It's a collection of individuals sharing their thoughts.

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 01/06/2017 16:40

I don't support labour have voted tory in all but one election

I think there are a fair few posters on either side doing it

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 01/06/2017 16:40

Are you fucking joking? Every second thread is some sanctimonious Labour bullshit.

CaptainBrickbeard · 01/06/2017 16:42

Pre-referendum a poster kept posting scaremongering about the 'Euro-army'. It was all she posted about and she never posted again. It's exactly the same with all these 'garden tax posts' mysteriously popping up everywhere. It's really obvious!

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 01/06/2017 16:42

*It's a collection of individuals sharing their thoughts.

It would seem however that if your views don't match those of others you are a plant or being paid to post. It's as if you can't possibly have a different view.

So much for democracy.
