OP posts:
Tanith · 03/06/2017 13:55

Actually, I haven't seen much from this lot recently so, in the interests of keeping everything fair and equal, I shall draw your attention to them Smile

JustAnotherPoster00 · 03/06/2017 13:55

Labour are much more sneaky. I googled something last week and a pop up on my phone reminded me to register to vote.

How is that a partisan issue?

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 03/06/2017 13:56

If I were naughty I would very much be temped to start a "Dianne Abbott is hot" thread.

Seeing as we already have a Jeremy and Keir one.

Charmageddon · 03/06/2017 14:04

I love the moneysupermarket spoof Piglet! Grin

I saw the Monster Raving Loony guy on Daily Politics the other day Tanith - he was v lovely Smile
He said that if any candidate didn't lose their deposit they'd be expelled for taking it too seriously, and said other parties had robbed their ideas (like the pet passport!).

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 03/06/2017 14:12

Thats buddy christ

Dh bought one for his brother

Its never been seen since

derxa · 03/06/2017 14:17

I miss Claig So bonkers I miss her too. I'd love to know who she really was.

Killdora · 03/06/2017 14:17

This latest secret camera footage from behind the scenes is quite good.

Tanith · 03/06/2017 14:22

My favourite MRLP pledge is to scrap Trident and use a tuning fork instead. Grin

Tanith · 03/06/2017 14:25

I strongly suspect that Isitmebut is on Netmums, masquerading as "Steph" these days.
Same old rants, though Smile

scaryteacher · 03/06/2017 15:08

Derxa I'm a bit worried that she hasn't posted on here either. I had good debates with her during the 2010 election.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 03/06/2017 15:29

I suspect there are people being mentioned on here that were kicked out of MN after some 'interesting' Trump threads. A few mysteriously vanished at exactly the same time.

bruffian · 03/06/2017 15:33

Because labour benefit far more from the young vote and that's what it was targeting. And I know they've spent a lot on social media.

birdsdestiny · 03/06/2017 15:55

Oh I lost vast swathes of time arguing with claig, but i miss her.
The irritating thing is it's not even Labour v Tory, I could cope with that. You either worship at the shrine of corbyn or you are EVIL. I have been on numerous threads as a centre left Labour voter and have been continually told I am really a Tory.

Epipgab · 03/06/2017 17:52

Claig was brilliant, I miss her too.

Rhayader · 03/06/2017 17:53

Hahahahahahahahaha, Mumsnet is so pro-labour. You do realise that around 50% of the country will vote tory? I really dont see 50% of posters here voting tory...

PortiaCastis · 03/06/2017 17:56

isitmebut is on the glittery site spouting the same stuff, so easy to recognise her/him

Tanith · 03/06/2017 18:14

Definitely "him", Portia. He's been around quite a bit and used his real name at one time.

Orlantina · 03/06/2017 18:46

You do realise that around 50% of the country will vote tory

Wonders whether to challenge that statement. At the last election, 37% voted Conservative. Turnout was 66%.

So of the 66% of people who bothered to vote, 37% voted Conservative

beardymcbeardy · 03/06/2017 19:29

Which country is this? I can assure you 50% of Scots do not vote Tory tf.

Livelovebehappy · 03/06/2017 20:41

Not sure if there are more lefties on MN. I just think Labour posters are more in your face and go in for repetition - you get a couple of Corbynistas zoning in on a particular comment and they're like a dog with a bone. You leave the thread on page three and go do your shopping, walk the dog, make tea, put the kids to bed, and come back to page 23 on the same thread with the same couple of posters still ranting about the same comment.

metspengler · 03/06/2017 20:48

Are you fucking joking? Every second thread is some sanctimonious Labour bullshit.

This. Also I have seen someone, naming no names, posting almost identical Labour spam to someone I know but recently unfollowed on facebook. Labour spam seems to be all over the place at the moment.

bruffian · 04/06/2017 07:46

Labour crap on social media has been the most depressing part of this whole election. I've unfollowed about 20 people, mainly because of the constant hectoring bullshit (Canary I'm looking at you Hmm)

I'm never voted Tory in my life but this constant fucking spin is making me hate labour

fuckwitery · 04/06/2017 09:15

And what's to say you're not from labour hq OP?

JustAnotherPoster00 · 04/06/2017 09:27

I'm never voted Tory in my life but this constant fucking spin is making me hate labour

The magic money tree or as the conservatives call it the family tree I did not steal that from Adam Hills

CivQueen · 04/06/2017 09:30

There is constant spin on both sides.

It's the nature of the populist beast.

Most people don't even bother to read the manifestos. Spin, to, and other people's opinions are what they base their vote on.
