Even when my life is a tad on the challenging side, I know that they're there if I really look hard.
This morning's was watching my 10yo DD cycling to school, going her fastest to catch up with her best friend. Her energy & enthusiasm were a joy to behold! It was so simple; it's a moment I'll cherish.
So, AIBU to ask you to share yours? Big or small, fancy or simple!

We're surrounded by fields of wheat/barley at the 'green' stage so it still looks like long grass. Yesterday our golden labrador decided he was a Springer and proceeded to bounce through the field, with his head bouncing above the wheat every now and then. He had the biggest grin on his face, I couldn't help but laugh out loud at joy in him.

Watching my DD in a park. Her pure joy at climbing and sliding makes my heart sing.

I also had a finger of Kitkat that was pure chocolate the other day. That made me very joyful too.

I found a £5 on the pavement the other day in a busy retail park. Should I have handed it in Blush

Just now is pretty good. Eldest is happily playing minecraft and the baby is napping so I'm having a cup of tea in peace.

I know we should be out enjoying the nice weather and day off school but I'm very pregnant and knackered.

I nanny a 3yo and 15month old and they've recently discovered the joy in each other, in the bath yesterday they were hysterically laughing at something (no idea what! Clearly a private joke!) and it was so lovely to watch them enjoy each other.

17 year old DS's football team won the League Cup this week. I have been watching him on the sidelines since he was 7 and this was his last match for the team that is not going to continue as they are all off to University.

V proud moment and also a bit sad IYKWIM.

I've just ordered samples for my new company.

My new magnolia tree looks beautiful and it's sunny and the cherry blossoms are out.

My 16mth old has the messiest hair in the morning and is speaking a lot. I'm so impressed by her. 'There you go mummy' 'take it off mummy' 'Hi cat'...she's a genius😂

Our oldest son told us this week that he has a new girlfriend. She's been a friend for a long time and if we could've picked out a girlfriend for him then it would've been her. That news made my heart sing!

My jasmine plant is thriving with beautiful dark pink flowers.

Last year they were white! Confused

WowserBowser · 04/05/2017 10:49

We've got a new unit. It's for something else but DSs Lego fits in. Hurrah!

QueenofallIsee · 04/05/2017 10:49

DS3 achieved a PB in an interschool sport and was delighted with himself. His earnest review of his success was awesome

TheElephantofSurprise · 04/05/2017 10:50

Woke up this morning with a cold. It's bad enough that I can't/shouldn't go out, and not bad enough to make me miserable.
A day at home, pottering about! Fabulous.

Sparklingbrook · 04/05/2017 10:50

Ooh Madison will you be buying a hat soon? Wink Grin

AprilLudgateDwyer · 04/05/2017 10:55

WAtching my 26 year old son putting his toddler to bed with such calm love and telling him how proud we are of him. He looked st me and said
'You and dad were the best parents in the world to us so we learned from the best'

No words.

pollyhampton · 04/05/2017 11:00

I haven't taken painkillers for 12 hours. I had an operation last week and thought I'd never get over the pain but I think I've finally turned a corner!

Muskey · 04/05/2017 11:03

A friend has a new job. I helped her a little bit with her cv and interview technique. To say thank you she bought me a box of chocolates and lunch.
I have recently had surgery to remove my gallbladder it is so wonderful not to be in constant pain anymore.
My dd hair this morning looked really lovely going to school.
Enjoying the peace and quiet of my house and listening to the birds singing in the garden

My baby has just figured out how to kiss. We're all getting big slobbery kisses.

Insomnibrat · 04/05/2017 11:17

A brand new, out of the packet washing up sponge.

Sassypants82 · 04/05/2017 11:20

My almost 3 year old woke at 2am this morning. I lay beside him for a while during which time he stroked my face & kissed my cheek. Just beautiful. I hope it lasts forever 😍

minesapintofwine · 04/05/2017 11:26

After weeks of poor running and panicking about the half marathon I've got next month I FINALLY managed a decent run this am. Stupidly relieved.

DS toddling across the library for a hug, then plonking himself into my lap to vet my book choices (this week, we have Superworm, Hairy McClary's Hat Tricks, The Tiger Who Came To Tea, and Ben and the Penguin).

Slurrycart · 04/05/2017 11:30
