Even when my life is a tad on the challenging side, I know that they're there if I really look hard.
This morning's was watching my 10yo DD cycling to school, going her fastest to catch up with her best friend. Her energy & enthusiasm were a joy to behold! It was so simple; it's a moment I'll cherish.
So, AIBU to ask you to share yours? Big or small, fancy or simple!

I have a new diary. It is a small piece of stationery heaven.

On Monday, sun on my face and toasted almonds and cava. Bliss

Dearohdeer · 04/05/2017 14:09

My cat came home after over a week. I was so happy to see her and she wondered what all the fuss was about Grin. I can't wait to tell DP when he gets back.

WannabeMathematician · 04/05/2017 14:09

I wrote some code today. It compiled and ran the first time! (V. Rare occurrence)

Feebeela · 04/05/2017 14:12

Oh happy, happy, joy, joy!!
My partner teacher brought her cello to play to our year 4 classes yesterday. To see the kid's rapt, amazed faces as she played put a massive smile on my face. I love my job! Sometimes.
My son running into school holding his BFF's hand, stopping, turning back and doing a running jump at me for a kiss goodbye.

This thread makes me happy.

I have a very poorly little beagle,
And she came round from a risky procedure yesterday and I went to pick her up and she was so wobbly, but so excited and happy!! Watching her leap around the garden afterwards was awesome :)

MrsChopper · 04/05/2017 14:23

Today sitting in the garden with DS, watching the curiosity on his face as he discovered grass for the first time. And his excitement watching birds fly by. It was lovely!

SilenceOfThePrams · 04/05/2017 14:26

My avocado was perfectly ripe this morning.

And someone has cut my grass for me!

Velvetbee · 04/05/2017 14:27

Half our huge lilac tree broke off yesterday and DH brought all the flowers in so as not to waste them. We have vases and jugs and bowls overflowing with purple gorgeousness. I feel like a film star with a secret admirer and the smell is amazing.

Claireshh · 04/05/2017 14:29

Driving in the car with my dog in the boot. He was staring out the window with his floppy ears swinging about. Fairly warmed the cockles of my heart.

sleepysusie · 04/05/2017 14:30

At the weekend Dh took me for an impromtu drive down the coast, beautiful scenery, the sun was shining just me and him, good music on the radio I just felt so happy, joyful and at peace. Then a walk on the front, chips, iron-bru and ice cream it was wonderful!

MumBod · 04/05/2017 14:39

DP bringing me Nutella porridge and a mug of tea in bed this morning.

I'm having a worrying time right now so he's really looking after me and tending to me. I feel very loved.

TheDogsMother · 04/05/2017 14:39

Laughing with DP as DDog did the zoomies. DDog was very poorly just a few weeks ago so to see him like this is lovely.

Being told every day by DP that he loves me.

Saving a little bird (chiffchaff)who flew into my window....bit dazed but when I picked it up, it flew up and landed on my shoulder, gave a little chirrup and then flew away.... it was a lovely moment

Beerwench · 04/05/2017 14:57

My pony shouting and then galloping towards the gate when I called him this morning to see me even though he has a field full of grass and friends - made my day because he obviously wanted to see me and not the polos in my pocket Grin

Bambambini · 04/05/2017 14:59

Went for a walk in a bluebell wood this morning.

Watching a very cute little squirrel eating bird seed in our garden. Hearing my three year old giggle as his sister kisses his tummy.

notarehearsal · 04/05/2017 15:25

After four months of careful eating in order to lose weight, this morning I saw, for the first time, that some tummy fat has shifted, joys

Fidoandacupoftea · 04/05/2017 15:40

As I waved goodbye to my two DDs as my husband took them to school, the younger DD came rushing out of the car. With an irritated and exasperated look I asked what had she missed to be told that she had forgotten to give me a kiss and a cuddle. Made my day

SuburbanRhonda · 04/05/2017 15:48

Just got back from the hairdressers after not having my hair cut for two years because I hate going.

It's the best haircut I've ever had and I feel amazing Smile

GuinessPunch · 04/05/2017 15:49

Smiling at my baby and him smiling back with crinkled eyes.

Coastalcommand · 04/05/2017 15:50

After years of waiting and hoping we have a baby. Every time I look at her I'm filled with joy. She's been worth the wait.

Ihateandysdinosauradventures · 04/05/2017 15:51

I'm a student nurse and a patient who has been particularly unwell and is non verbal due to her condition, looked me in the eyes, gave me a huge hug and a kiss. Melted my heart. She even muttered you're nice. I'm still a bit teary about it. I have been working one to one with her and helping her to communicate.
